Dubmatix, Dub and Reggae's genre bending, multi- instrumentalist "Dread At The Controls" has given legendary Toronto "All Things Bass" kingpin Marcus Visionary access to remix select tracks from his vast catalogue.  The result?  5 tracks of heavy weight Ragga Jungle with a Smokey, Roots inflected blueprint.  The project features vocal collaborations with some of Reggae's most celebrated artists, including Tenor Fly, The Mighty Diamonds, Mykal Rose,  Tippa Irie and Brother Culture who all find their songs slotted cleanly in the Drum & Bass pocket by Marcus's skilled  veteran  touch.  This EP represents only the beginning of this fruitful partnership between these two titans of Sound System Culture.  Watch for many more Dubmatix Meets Marcus Visionary releases to come.

Just something I've been working on recently inspired by the early days of Jungle / Hardcore / Drum & Bass... It's my own small tribute to the likes of Neil Trix/FBD Project, Alex Reece, Pulse & The Wax Doctor + LTJ Bukem & Fabio who instigated this kind of warm, rolling atmospheric sound. Going out to anyone who remembers that vibe and to those keeping it alive - never gets old for me :-)

Started this in 2013 as a simple roller kinda tune but never really finished it until I went back to it again around the end of 2019 and then again this week, so here it is. Rolling, atmospheric D&B but with a bit of an edge and a few twists.

Just to introduce myself - it's Code from Subtle Audio Recordings. I'm based in Limerick, Ireland. My first love musically is D&B and Jungle but I like and play Techno / Dubstep / Electronica too.

I started my label 'Subtle Audio' in 2005. The aim of the operation is to release interesting and experimental breakbeat D&B. Since the inception artists such as Alpha Omega, Equinox, Breakage, Nebula, Fanu, Sileni, Polska, Macc, dgoHn, Naibu, 0=0, Senses, Fracture & Neptune, Dissident and many more have contributed beats to the project and there's more to come!
