Over the past year, I’ve been through a lot, both good and bad.
I’ve been trying to come up with a song that reflects my mental state over the past year, but I just couldn’t find the right idea.
That is, until the end of the year when Novatone hosted "Obscure Genre Challenge". While choosing a style, I discovered Harsh Noise Wall, a genre characterized by "no ideas, no change, no development, no entertainment, no remorse".
It has no tonality, no rhythm, and in essence, it lacks everything we associate with music.
But amidst this repetitive, complex noise, I found echoes of the highlights and painful moments of the past year.
So, I created this song that may not even be worthy of being called a song.
I understand the long hours of hard work behind "ten years of practice for one minute on the stage", and I also understand the helplessness behind "give a dog a bad name and hang him". This feeling is truly unprecedented.
I’ve poured my thoughts and emotions into this twelve-minute piece.
This is the story behind the creation of "Alps Snowstorm."
