Peter Adriaenssens’ production technique has been described as dark, hypnotic and rhythmic while his music masterfully draws constituent elements from IDM and Industrial Techno.
With releases on R&S Records & UX he provides bruising off kilter rhythms stagger and lurch in mesmerising ways that undercut the 4:4 hegemony are sure to confuse and delight dancefloors in equal measure.
This entry into our series is a diverse journey through the artist’ sound, an eclectic mix which represents his unique approach to art and music.

Temperatures keep dropping, we keep dropping music. Our upcoming catalogue Corpus Records Diverse (CRX) aims to diversify the Corpus musical body even further—a sonic playground of sorts, exploring audio and sounds that go beyond techno. The first iteration comes from no other than renowned producer HD Substance. The Spaniard delivers six banging tracks that tread new ground for our label, a more than promising start for our new catalogue. It comes to no surprise that HD Substance also is the name behind our next chapter of Corpus Monthly, delivering a precisely curated eclectic mix of raw breaks and thumping techno beats.

HD Substance - Corpus monthly, Chapter 026 [CMC026]

Codeword welcomes @JonasLandwehr, artist and co-founder of R-Imprint label (@rawimprint) based in Bielefeld, West Germany and radio show-host on Rinse France. Landwehr has recently put out releases on Blocaus Paris and The Third Room, alongside the likes of Surgeon, Peter Van Hoesen and Henning Baer, as well as on Monoloc’s Unterland label. Landwehr is making headway for his creativity and dynamic approach to techno output with his music-focused contributions to the scene and innovative uses of online media, including his new YouTube show w/ partner-in-crime, Felix Fleer (also on the show this month). As a DJ who has played regularly at Korner (Taipei) as well as at Alphabet Club (Tel Aviv) and across Germany and mainland Europe, his sound is a mix of deep techno and broken beats and his 1h guestmix for Codeword is masterfully controlled, hypnotic, dubby and deep.

Codeword welcomes @FelixFleer, artist and co-founder of R-Imprint label (@rawimprint) based in Bielefeld, West Germany and radio show-host on Rinse France. Fleer has recently released music on Semantica Records, Inland’s Counterchange Recordings as well as The Third Room and his own R-Imprint label. Fleer has made significant contributions to both his local club scene as well as digitally across Europe. His intelligent conversations w/ major artists on Rinse France demonstrate his depth of knowledge and passion for techno. This is also evident in his productions, which are intense, rhythmic and unconventional and demonstrate both his technical and musical talent. As a DJ, Fleer has played at establishments such as PAL (Hamburg), Contact (Tokyo) and the Moulin Rouge (Paris). His 1h vinyl-only guestmix for Codeword meanders through trippy, bleepy and hypnotic techno with style and substance.
