Slam bring light to their Paragraph imprint with the floor-shattering 'Cadence' release. 

'Cadence' is as tough and as noisy as you'll find Slam today. Sitting on the outskirts of Techno, the Glaswegian pair push the envelope of their style and production, utilising a grit they have worked on for over twenty years.

The deeper of the two tracks ,'Remain', still packs a punch. While preserving the rumbling low-end that binds 'Cadence' together, 'Remain' bears a fathomless form that allows that dizzying, cosmos moment in longer sets. 

This powerful two tracker from Slam is a welcome return for Paragraph.

Italian-based Mathame joins ARDOR with the 'Loophole' EP. Its title track 'Dance Of Light' is a synth-dominated techno trip with minimalistic drums to switch up the rhythm in a room. The two B-side tracks are straighter dancefloor fare. The first, 'Prophecy', is a thick and heavy, hypnotising 4x4 track & the rough 'Amelie Lens Remix' is a dark and very dynamic interpretation with massive pressure.

A demagogue /ˈdɛməɡɒɡ/ (from Greek δημαγωγός, a popular leader, a leader of a mob, from δῆμος, people, populace, the commons + ἀγωγός leading, leader) or rabble-rouser is a leader in a democracy who gains popularity by exploiting prejudice and ignorance among the common people, whipping up the passions of the crowd and shutting down reasoned deliberation. Demagogues have usually advocated immediate, violent action to address a national crisis while accusing moderate and thoughtful opponents of weakness or disloyalty. Demagogues violate established rules of political conduct; most who were elected to high office changed their democracy into some form of dictatorship.
Demagogues have appeared in democracies since ancient Athens. They exploit a fundamental weakness in democracy: because ultimate power is held by the people, nothing stops the people from giving that power to someone who appeals to the lowest common denominator of a large segment of the population.

Amber Room stomps through the room with an elastic groove, hi hats sessions and deep basslines, while clearing the path for growling synths and melodic overtones layered with a sexy diva vocal sample.

The EP closes with a track titled 'Berliner Goes The Rave' collaboration with Spartaque's good friend Greenjack, which delivers a grinding bassline in combination with the hypnotic male vocals of the haunting kind, eerie notes and a mysterious vibe throughout.
