On the heels of their 'ECOSYSTEM' album released with us earlier this year in April, we've teamed up with our friends over at @monasteryrecords to bring you one last @kidd-luna offering before the year is up! 'ECOSYSTEM REMIXED' explores all of the familiar yet alien spaces that Luna so elegantly introduced us all too in the first installment, but this time he's brought all of his pals along for the ride to showcase their own interpretations on the 'ECOSYSTEM' lore! Everyone involved on this release brought their true A-Game, and we couldn't be more stoked to co-host this stellar release!

In the eighth count of this installment we have Garbagio Garbageson breaking the jungle/rave streak with a bit more of a mellow smoother hiphop track for the warmer days to come.

For those not in the know, Garbagio has been a core member of scumtapes for a few years now. Joining the clique after meeting through mutual connections & finding a heavily overlapping interest in many things that have come to define scumtapes by that time, and building on that further. Garbagio has been on a fairly wicked hotstreak when it comes to releases under his own name & DEE-J@Y YUNG CHE$TA aliases for the last couple of years, with a heavy focus on hiphop production. Aside from this, Garbagio also engages in assisting us in the video & GFX department. He also sporadically live streams & is also a verified video-freak.

With his track, God Hates A Quitter, Garbagio returns to a more classical form with some smooth & easy listening instrumental hiphop. However, a defined sharpness present- which comes to show a refinement crafted & nurtured over years of intense dedication & craft.

My gin and tonic snapped onto the epoxy finished table. The glass was cold in my hands. Hands that were slowly warming up with the room around me. The kick thumped with the up-beat hi-hat. The dreamy sound of the washed vocals and filtered synth pads called me towards the dance floor. The spring reverberated stabs subtly held my attention as the groove began to swell. Without a word, I watched as people swayed their way towards the booth, drinks in hand. Something about this... You give it your attention and it rewards. I need to get back out there.

I sipped my tonic and washed my mind away in the music.

Ava Blank is a producer based out of Los Angeles, California specializing in some of the more refined genres of dance music. "come thru" represents some of the most refined and original of her work, able to reward with multiple listens.
