Cognitive Connections 004 featuring Aaron Jacobs.

Aaron Jacobs is a cofounder of Wulfpack, one of Southern California's most renowned underground crews and record labels. He is also one of the founding members of Shadow Wulf Records, a recent sister label to Wulfpack, a global effort that focuses on a unique style of dark, minimal techno.  Shadow Wulf is a new label that has seen immediate success with a string of successful releases from world-class artists like Carbon, Maksim Dark, and Monococ in addition their own music.

Michael's recent debut EP on Understated Records, 'Float', is an exploration in electro fueled breakbeats and found immediate success, charting at #2 in Break Beat Releases, and #45 in Overall Releases on Beatport. dela Moon is one of the most distinctive resident artists, and a long-time organizer for the legendary Moontribe collective. dela is also a well-rounded producer, with a long discography of releases on labels like Desert Trax, Street Ritual, and Inquiry Collective. She is a world renowned  DJ, gracing the decks at clubs and festivals such as Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas and Outlook Festival in Croatia. dela is most known for her captivating sounds of drum & bass, half-time and psychedelic bass sounds, but lately she has been exploring a deeper side of music, drawing influences from Berlin's techno sounds. Her episode for Cognitive Connections is 90 minutes of ripping techno, and we hope you enjoy!

Synchronometry is a producer, DJ, and software developer from the LA area with a long history in the Southern California dance music scene. In the studio his output is multifaceted; in terms of music production he has releases on record labels like Shadowulf, and Activated Recordings, but more interestingly he is a software engineeer for the popular digital instrument developer Output. His incredible technical knowledge and audio prowess shows in his original music as well as behind the decks where you will most often find him at the legendary Moontribe Collective parties.

Cognitive Connections 013 featuring Tyler Rouse. 

Tyler Rouse is an artist, promoter, and record label head and an integral member of the West Coast techno community. He cofounded the successful Los Angeles record label and party crew, Minimal Sessions. He has a healthy catalogue of releases on labels such as Respekt, Black Square, Eclipse, and Hostage Records as well as his own imprint. His music has allowed him travel to club and festival stages around the world to places like Brazil, Amsterdam, and Costa Rica. He is also a great friend and collaborator with Cognition, and we're so happy he shared this mix with us.
