After delivering a three-tracked label start with two remixes and the original track by DkA & Jon Mosto, a clubby track wit sensual French vocals from Elena, it´s now Nandu´s turn with two original tracks, both of them again driven by juicy vocals. 

“The Lights”, the EP´s title track is a profound and complex story, never forcing itself upon the listener but gently picking him up in real sophisticated (production) manner. The second original track, “The Blckout”, is based upon a more repetitive structure. A deep male vocal, intertwining with a mystical synth-line and driving percussions gives this track its compelling energy. 

The B-Side of the release consists of two remixes by MYNY and Echonomist. The latter takes a touch on “The Lights”, giving it an even more clubby structure and placing the vocal in the magically-soundscaped break of the track. It then merges back into the driving synth & percussion groove - a real emotional, yet never even slightly cheesy banger! The second remix comes from German MYNY and perfectly rounds off the release with a deep and laid-back synth, surrounded by versatile and percussion layers and a beautifully-warm atmosphere. 

With releases of such deep understanding and understatement, one should be more than excited for what Scatcity has lined up next!
