What began as an acoustic cover of Rihanna's "Stay" immediately inspired us to integrate Miike Snow's "Animal." It wasn't until hearing Classixx's "Stranger Love" on KCRW that it all came together.

Cold Comfort are here to take us on a journey. Tales of misspent adventure, lost friends & honest poetic observations on the way we live. The band have cultivated a dedicated cult following and their music has been described as “a cocktail of blues, rock & roll and country’. Their influences range from Neil Young and The Velvet Underground to Rory Gallagher, but they go beyond these influences to create an eclectic soundscape. 
They have been working on their Debut Album "Tainted Winds" since November 2012 and its set for release in September 2014.
Keep your ears to the ground.
