DEGIAL - Savage Mutiny

UK death metal entity GRAVE MIASMA have completed work on their new mini-album `Endless Pilgrimage´ to see its release in conspiracy with Profound Lore Records on May 6.

Consisting of five tracks that culminate in a 35-minute jaunt that depicts the sound of spiritual death throughout the ages, `Endless Pilgrimage´ sees GRAVE MIASMA follow-up their `Odori Sepulcrorum´ milestone album by taking their sound further into darker, more atmospheric and more progressive territory channeling some of their most challenging, aggressive, and most advanced material to date. With `Endless Pilgrimage´, GRAVE MIASMA have harnessed a new level of creativity to their oeuvre creating another unparalleled work within the genre.

Recorded, mixed, and mastered on analog format by Jaime Gomez Arellano at Orgone Studios, featuring art by Costin Chioreanu, and featuring a re-recording reprise of the 2002 track `Glorification Of The Impure´ from the band’s demo days.

GRAVE MIASMA - Purgative Circumvolution

Australia’s Gallery of Modern Art commissioned Xiu Xiu to reinterpret the music from Twin Peaks for their David Lynch: Between Two Worlds exhibition. Since then, the band has performed select concerts all over the globe culminating in a proper studio album of the compositions - "Plays The Music of Twin Peaks." The album features Xiu Xiu's reinterpretation of David Lynch's iconic theme, "Falling."

Falling

The Levitation Hex debut definitely wasn't something for metal traditionalists, and the same is true for their sophomore album “Cohesion”. It is another case of extraordinary music that will mainly appeal to people who don't place any constraints on their taste in music. Adam Agius, frontman of the Australian four-piece explains the goal the band had for their second LP: “Our goals were purely to create music that the band members were happy with. We don’t follow any trends and see music as an expression of our selves. We did try and change things up a bit for our own interest and had a very broad scope for the creation of ‘Cohesion’. We kept it simple and at times pretty upbeat. We are happy with the result so I guess you can say we achieved our goals.”
