Evolution is a guaranteed headline grabber, having played a starring role at Markus Schulz's acclaimed Down the Rabbit Hole performance live at Dreamstate Europe in Poland. While Voices, more subtle in buildup compared to its partner, is no less captivating when the melody arrives.

A staple of Coldharbour and indeed his euphoric techno outings on Coldharbour Black, Mike EFEX returns with an ode to one of America's pioneering rave events that inspired a generation, with the aptly titled Monsters. 

The Californian has already made an impressive mark on 2022, with his Evolution piece not only illuminating big time events such as Dreamstate and the Luminosity Beach Festival, its legacy has been cemented with a placement on Markus Schulz's In Search of Sunrise 18 compilation. 

Mike EFEX's connection to Markus can be traced back to the hedonistic days of Monster Massive, taking place at the famous Los Angeles Sports Arena around Halloween. With his trademark qualities on display, Monsters is another piece sure to captivate while transitioning towards the fall, and the long, dark nights ahead.

As Coldharbour Black celebrates its first anniversary, we welcome back the man who has contributed to this new label adventure more than any other - the distinguishable sounds of one Mike EFEX.

One of our favorite contributors across all of Coldharbour returns with yet another much anticipated three-track release, as Mike EFEX delivers the tingling Shadow and Flame E.P.

The Los Angeles native has demonstrated an increased versatility in recent years; straddling the lines between trance and techno to appraised effect. The title track from the release, as well as Screen Behind the Mirrors, will immediately draw attention from both the melodic and peak techno audiences.

However, such versatility is also in evidence with the remaining piece, in which he dons his Emtech alias for Skyfire; in which the techno influences lie in its percussion, allowing the trance side to blossom.
