In June of this year, Richard Durand presented the eleventh excursion of the In Search of Sunrise series that he conceived with Myon & Shane54, dedicated to 'The City of Sin': Las Vegas. As tradition demands, this brand new volume also features an In Search of Sunrise anthem, which Richard produced with Eximinds. Finally available in its original, full length, the single release also features the brand new Organic Remix.

There's much more to the track "Las Vegas" than only the title, especially since it represents an entire mixcompilation. As Richard recently stated: “With electronic music in the United States having changed so momentously over the last couple of years, there really was only one choice when it came to the country for 2013’s ‘Search’. I’ve selected Las Vegas to be the focal point, as it’s a place where I’ve seen the sun come up many times over. It’s a celebration of everything that’s great musically about L.V. and the USA at large.”

Richard's choice to work with Eximinds on "Las Vegas" didn't just fall out of the sky either. The Russian duo quickly emerged over the last two years and have become one of the fastest rising names in trance and progressive. While Eximinds existed for several years as a musical experiment with various members, it was only under the influence of current members Alexander Zhukov and Dmitry Momzikov, that their musical collective started to gain the attention of EDM's elite.

As a true anthem should, "Las Vegas" features an epic melodic and increasingly atmospheric sound that phases its way onto the dancefloor. Hard, seismically registering beats and bright, enlightening synths show off perfectly how Richard and Eximinds open the thrusters wide, setting it on course for its edge-of-the-seat climax. The Organic Remix honors the original theme, with a more trance aimed approach to it. Maybe the best anthem for the city so far, "Las Vegas" will surely be hammered in all the ruling venues this season!

Hey guys,

Writing this the night before another annual city series compilation gets released. As is tradition with the compilations over the past few years, I prepare a special episode of Global DJ Broadcast to celebrate the release; previewing tracks from the upcoming CD, as well as dipping into the archives and showcasing some flashback moments from previous editions.

The city of Buenos Aires holds a very special place in my heart, and I am proud to be able to add it to the list ot cities featured on the compilation series. The Argentinean fans, and the fans in South America altogether, are so passionate for our scene and have embraced me so well with every visit. 

But hopefully this will also be a compilation for the world. After months of preparation and long nights the project has finally come to fruition, and it may be something you will admire and remember for a long time to come.

Hello guys and girls,

World Tour time of the month again, but on this occasion the first one ever recorded live at sea.

I was able to round off my summer in style by playing two sets on the recent Los Angeles Groove Cruise, which took over 2000 clubbers on a journey from the Port of Long Beach in California to Catalina Island and Ensenda in Mexico. What you hear in the set is highlights of the first one, on the Friday night, where i played for over 4 hours.

Big thanks to Ryan and all the Groove Cruise staff for being so welcoming throughout the weekend, and of course to all the great fans who shared in festivities with me. It's not every day where I get to DJ, have breakfast and dinner with the same set of people!

Hope you enjoy the set and helps provide a bit of a soundtrack to your weekends.

We're very happy to welcome our good friend Scotty.A back to Axon Recordings.

Scotty has delivered a superb track by the name of 'All we have Is Forever'. The original mix has a beautifully melancholic feel, and would sit easily in the sets of DJs such as Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. With that, you're probably not surprised to find that those guys regularly support his tracks, along with other big names in the underground scene.

First up on remix duties we have label boss Che Armstrong. Che's remix is reminiscent of some classic progressive house. With a solid drive and tasty bass line, this one should work well in the clubs!

Last but not least, joining forces on the second remix is Hugo Ibarra & Uvo Remix. These guys are on fire at the moment and give prime example of modern progressive house!

Continuing the traditions of Markus Schulz’s esteemed Coldharbour Recordings label, our next release yields the latest chapter of the Coldharbour Selections series; consisting of three tracks from differing production outfits with the opportunity to showcase their talents.

The Selection package contains a debut for two producers. UK native Dan Thompson had a momentum-filled run through late 2014, with releases such as Chronicle and Propaganda. He makes his Coldharbour bow in the form of Stealth, debuted by label owner Markus Schulz at the seminal Transmission extravaganza in Prague to much acclaim.

Next up is 18 year old Ron Alperin. Hailing from Jerusalem, Ron’s demo Knockout caught Markus’ attention with immediate effect, and has been a mainstay in his sets ever since. With plays on the Global DJ Broadcast World Tour events in Chicago and Miami, Knockout is an essential dancefloor destroyer.

And last but not least is the latest offering from the legendary M.I.K.E. Push; fusing touch techy beats with his beautiful melodies which have defined his craft. He teams up with Canberra for Confession, and as the track name suggests, as an unforgiving momentum grower.

All three tracks have been tried and trusted on Global DJ Broadcast as well as Markus’ livesets, and will fill the playlists of many more.
