The Belgian https://soundcloud.com/voltageimprint closes of its single digit releases with a fine taste, club-focused EP by https://soundcloud.com/altinbas & https://soundcloud.com/cirkle-1: Cynical Moves. Our premiere pick, ‘Divergence’, is part of the B-side and pulses through your speakers like a compelling invitation to hit the dance floor.

The duo tears open the EP with a clean-cut & high momentum mind-twister, ‘Cynical Moves’, setting the tone for what’s to come. While the pace and energy peak in the second track, the signature tunneling thrive is ever-present. Like a cat carrying her kitten by the neck, it lifts you up, controls you and drops you off elsewhere.

‘Divergence’ is a rambling pulsation, rhythmically building up towards another hypnotic wobbler. While trying to combine aesthetic quality with a high energy and emotional experience Altinbas and Cirkle manage to keep the underground feeling real.

Returning for the seventh edition of the beloved WE ARE NOT ALONE compilation series, Ellen Allien and BPitch Berlin curate an unmissable collection of twelve new tracks celebrating the global underground that has influenced the label since its inception. 
Due out in May, it is to be followed by two further installments landing later this year.

With the announcement of this ambitious new compilation, BPitch continue to expand on their limitless roster, providing a reflection of the artists who have been involved in the WE ARE NOT ALONE event series from across the world. 
These events put a kaleidoscopic lens to electronic music from all over, championing a vision of culture that is far-reaching and inclusive in both spirit and sound. 
With contributions from rising talents and established heroes alike, WE ARE NOT ALONE Vol. 7 is a testament to the pluralism of one of electronic music’s most beloved record labels, and the family of artists that make it what it is.

Opening the proceedings is label founder Ellen Allien with ‘Kyiv’ - a brand new cut that weaves a vast pool of sonic references for the power hour. 
There are touches of acid, dub, breaks, and trance, but genre titles become futile when it’s ultimately a sound completely her own. 
Next up is a slice of the Stockholm underground with Andree Bohlin and Billie Jo teaming up for a high speed journey through big beats and hammerdrill piano licks. 
Warsaw- born producer Sept then provides some maximal trance for the weirder hours.

DJ Physical applies a romantic vision of techno, drenched in melancholy and geared towards the senses on the seductive ‘Scary Night’. 
WTCHCRFT brings us into murkier analogue territory with ‘Unusual Photograph’, a fusion of chopped vocals and hard-edged percussive loops from the New York underground fixture. 
Slowing things down a touch, the legendary Rhys Fulber of Front Line Assembly offers up a chugging, cyclical dose of arpeggiated industrialism.

Naix - also known as revered Scottish electro maestro Galaxian - takes a chainsaw to the production booth on the searing ‘Current-Gen’. 
Berlin’s own Lucinee lifts things up to the skies with a glistening cut of trance radiation, before REÄKTTOR, hailing from Colombia, presents a darkened dose of cybergoth realness on the weighty ‘Il Oscuro’.

Ayako Mori and Raul Alvarez plunge straight back into a cavernous warehouse with ‘Departure To (360 mix)’, Lady Maru - a Berlin resident with a background as a guitarist, noise musician and more - puts together a no-nonsense barrage of hard techno on ‘Don’t Cross The Line’. 
Rounding off the compilation is Under Black Helmet’s ‘Stargazer’, a levitational voyage into a different dimension.

Just as the WE ARE NOT ALONE event series connects the dots between a sprawling and passionate network of countercultural misfits, their compilation series offers a snapshot into the true underground of electronic music today.

Introducing 'Kick Back' by Resonances (IT), the latest addition to NECHTO's Bandcamp-exclusive project in support of new faces. Leonardo from Grosseto, Tuscany, embodies his passion for techno. 'Kick Back' was born from a rainy day jam session in Leonardo's studio, blending analog and digital gear. The track features a TR8 for rhythm, Analog Four for bass and synths, and Moog Mother 32s for surround synths, all sequenced with Arturia Beatstep and recorded in Live 11. The mix, using VSTs like Universal Audio and Fab Filter Pro C2, achieves a compact, gritty sound.

This Bandcamp-exclusive project is dedicated to giving producers the spotlight they deserve. In an industry oversaturated with content, Nastia's initiative ensures producers retain full revenue from their tracks and an additional fee in support. Recognizing the challenges producers face, this project offers a platform for emerging talents to flourish.

Berlin native Lucinee steps up for a solo EP on BPitch, delving into trippy new territory across three tracks.

Having cut her teeth in the underground music worlds of Hamburg and Berlin, Lucinee’s approach to musicality is grounded by a firm DIY mentality and a desire to explore the weirder, more hypnotic realms of the sonic sphere. 
With regular gigs at some of the world’s most respected clubs, and a host of releases on various beloved labels, she is already part of the BPitch booking roster, but makes her sonic debut on the label with this EP.

Across just three tracks, Lucinee packs in a world of sound design, fusing warm psychedelic swirls into driving techno with touches of ambient, whilst using her voice as an instrument throughout. 
The result is a masterclass in hypnotism and groove, with touches of nostalgia and the beating pulse of a packed dancefloor.

The aptly-titled ‘Drift’ floats us through a trance-inducing swirl of ambient grooves and subdued vocals, landing somewhere between the abstract and the visceral. 
Taking a more minimal turn, ‘Point of No Return’ weaves its way through a smokey warehouse with surreal psychedelic echoes. 
Rounding off the EP, ‘Napoleon Complex’ leans towards the darker sides of electro, with touches of EBM and cold synths driving into the night while exploring themes of fragile masculinity and the facades of power and confidence.
Hooning in on an impeccable production technique, Lucinee finds new forms at the boundary-pushing edges of electronic music. 
Like a drop of acid in a sea of sound, Point of No Return is one for the heads.

Hailing from an isolated city in Bohemia, but based in Berlin for more than a decade, Tigerhead presents her BPitch debut - Please Remain Calm.

Having built a steady reputation over the past few years with appearances on various beloved techno labels and gigs in some of the most respected clubs and festivals on the planet, Tigerhead has found her sonic niche, driven by an obsession with digging for hidden treasures, and underpinned by a deep musicality fostered over time as a musician, vocalist, DJ, and producer. 
In dealing with the more abstract corners of electronic music, she has harnessed an ear to create unconventional, boundary-pushing sounds without losing sight of the groove. 
For this EP she explores the more sensual realms of techno, carving out new aesthetics that teeter between hard techno beats and hedonistic vocals. 
All the vocals are her own, and were recorded in single takes to capture authentic expressions in the moment.

Greetings, in episode 021 we introduce you to Seraaph, an artist from Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. This country is located in the northern part of Europe, and the city remains shrouded in darkness for most of the year. Its complex history and rich cultural atmosphere continue to give rise to the underdogs of the European techno scene. In this session, Seraaph dedicates the phenomenal track “Vilnius” by Dotwav (remixed by Introversion) to showcase the spirit of his homeland, plus we find a carefully crafted selection of songs that adhere to the hypnotic and hard-hitting underground sound.
