Re:Circulation is a new mix series which will feature older tunes that either never made it onto a Body&Soul mix, or classics that did but I want to revisit and revive them by mixing them with different tracks, and also there will be a few new tunes (mostly when none of the tunes in my library will fit!). Circulation was the first Body&Soul mix, so the title seemed fitting lol. I have a good bit of tunes that just didn't fit in (it's the land of misfit tunes!) and kind of got left on the backburner, but they're great tunes, so they aren't "rejects". FYI! This time around I also included some older tunes that were recently re-released on a comp (tunes I missed originally). Enjoy the mix. Just in time for the vernal equinox, I cut this exclusive liquid mix to mark the inaugural launch of FED, a brand new online publication hosted on the Substack platform. With this mix I wanted to slowly ease into things. First few cuts are deep groovy halftime beats, after which we move into some jazzy and melodic nice weather liquid. About halfway, we pick up the pace a little and move into chunky, driving liquid rollers before lowering the temp at the end again. Several personal fave classics in the mix, alongside some brand new things. Tried to keep it fun, light and funky overall. Cheers!

FED — Spring 2024 Mix

Was feeling a more chill vibe after putting 'Never too Old' together and as an aside I really appreciate the warm feedback from that set and the show that I played it in, the crowd and our SSS fam showed lots of love and that's why we do this so big ups to the peeps that support. Mad Love.

Got a nice little airy session for the listeners this go round, featuring some fluid tunes from homie Duoscience to lead us off followed by a dope Con-Figure track forthcoming from the Codename:RCRDS homies then rolling off into a real slick tune from Alkali. A nice lead chapter that I'm pretty happy with, vibing into a solid atmospheric section accented by a couple more forthcoming tracks from the up and coming Codename:RCRDS label. Guest Mix Vol. 266 'Art of Illusion' (Diverse Pressure) Exclusive DnB Session

It's been a pretty busy month of gigs for me, but it's always a good time returning to the stream to hang out and vibe with old friends. Bonus level, I get to play all the music I don't get to play out all that much to IRL dancefloors! It being 4/20 and all I'm sure many people had Saturday plans, so it was kind of a low key affair, but the core group of the LLL fam were still present in the chat. I opted for a deep heady vibe in the first hour and brought up the energy in the second hour with some dancefloor and big room rollers into some minimal tech stuff and finally into some futuristic R&B style vocal rollers at the end. Good times were had for sure and I always appreciate the support.

Colin Pierce is a 23 yr veteran DJ originally from Pittsburgh, PA, USA, where he became highly and widely respected for his skills and integrity. 

Colin is a lifetime music junky. He is the first human to be born with headphones already on! Seriously though, since 6 years of age he has been actively seeking, collecting, and enjoying, music, and that was in 1983, so you do the math! Colin had 2 bands in high school, and wrote all or much of the music for them. He started mixing records in 1998 shortly after his first rave party, and hasn't stopped, always continuing to refine his formidable technical skills and dynamic range, pushing the limits of technology and experimentation in the tradition of jazz improvisationalists. Always live, never rehearsed or pre-planned, colin is the dj's dj, and is highly respected by all those who know him or have ever seen him do his thing. Colin is working on 6 years clean and sober, and does not play gigs often anymore, focusing on discovering God's purpose.
