Ariose is the combination of two young Edinburgh-based producers: Sean Liddle and Harry Parker. Having spent the majority of the past five years making music individually, it wasn’t until they joined forces on the Ariose project that they truly found their foothold in the electronic Music scene. Liddle’s musical background is diverse – a talented instrumentalist and DJ with a passion for making music that fills the dance floor, ranging from 2-step and bass music to techno and electro. Parker has always been more focused on producing a variety of melodic techno, trying out different arrangements and time signatures to create tracks that are often glitchy and occasionally quite abstract and ambient. Both artists have always been willing to input the time and meticulous attention to detail in order to come up with a finished product that they, and their listeners, can be extremely happy with.Since deciding to work as a duo, the two have managed to refine their sound to an unusual, yet still dancefloor-friendly, breed of melodic techno. T here is a notable German influence in their music that it still recognisable through their own unique sound.

We had to bring Ariose back for another remix after the phenomenal reception to their reworking of Audiomolekül's  'Bluna', and we knew we had a winning combination with their particular brand of hypnotic yet dance floor driven tech grooves and Daäna & Brendan Lawless' impeccable tune 'Amesha Spenta' (from on Techgnosis Vol. III). This one's an instant classic!

The guys from Ariose provide some sweetness with this track. For us, this is something a bit different from what we usually release, but it is a true musical pearl. Plucking mallets and a slow playful breakbeat-like rhythm draws the attention immediately. The melancholic synthy cello strikes adding a recognizable atmosphere to this track.

Ariose is the first one on remix duty and deliver once again. They have totally turned the track around. “Apart” has gotten a nice groove while the melody gets a totally different feel. It has gotten a nice dreamy feel to it, while a new arpeggio emerges out of thin air and begins to lead the track towards a wonderful progression. Until finally that massive break comes in where they slowly take everything away, only to bring it back óne móre time! A massive remix by Ariose.

Even if you awaken consciousness in a dream you may only be seeing subjective things, in other words projections of your own mind. Just because you awaken in a dream does not mean you are objectively awake. That is another thing and that takes a lot of discipline, a lot of work. Little by little, objective consciousness starts to become one's reality and when that is perfected, one has reached that level, the fourth level.

What matters is how we perceive right now. What is past is gone, it doesn't exist, and there is no future. What exists is right now and that is the door. That door is inside your own heart, it is in your pineal gland, it is in your psyche, it is in your consciousness. To stay focused and standing in that door takes so much willpower and discipline. It is the greatest work any person can ever undertake, not only the most difficult, the most terrifying, the most risky, it is also the most rewarding. The process of awakening the consciousness, receiving the influences of our own Inner Being is the gateway, the door to serenity, to the experience of a tranquil heart, to comprehension of the nature of reality. And again that doesn't come easily, it doesn't come one day to the next.
