Hailing from Terrell, Texas a city set on the outskirts of Dallas and heavily influenced by a musically rich family background, his sights were set on music from childhood. After attending Texas A&M University-Commerce, Cobi enrolled in Music Tech Institute in Dallas. It was during his time here he’d be an understudy of world-famous producer Tony Williams, greatly expanding his musical scope. In October of 2013 Cobi made the move to Los Angeles landing an internship at Alcove recording, a studio space for Platinum producer JR Huston. His most recent production “Back it Up” peaked at 210k videos on TikTok and over 1 million streams across all platforms with more success on the horizon.
