My longest composition yet and my first piece performed in a concert - This is an experimental composition juxtaposing thick electronic textures over smooth acoustic layers, using a structure based loosely on the harmonic series. Part of a set of two compositions ("Integration" is part 2) composed for my MRes portfolio.

Based on an Andrea Krux sample, heavily remixed to an ambiant track with a slight dance feeling. As always, listen with a good headset or sound system ;-)

rien ne sert de faire un drame
inutile est ce vacarme
l'expérience est faite
même si c'est une défaite
rien ne sert d'abimer le passé
inutile de vouloir l'effacer
juste avancer

silly competition
invasive
incessant and persistent
Do not approach me
to initiate a fight
no I don't want
my time to be used for that
tired of fighting
there's so little of it
it is so precious
sorry to be wasteful

there's no point in making a mess
it's useless to make a fuss
the experiment is done
even if it is a defeat
there is no point in damaging the past
no point in trying to erase it
just move on
