wandering along these lonely roads looking at what is no longer around

how did we get here wait when did this happen and why did it even go down?

wondering if and when what if it never ends how can we continue now?

well I say we should work on it then problem solving is likely our only way out

whether or not
this all is just part of some intricate plot 
am I crazy or what

we’ve gotta give it all we’ve got
and go
to make progress
we must
develop a new approach

walk with me talk with me documentarian 
charting an authentic cosmic event

watching this awesome phenomenon there it is wherever I choose to be I am set

all of the stars that are lost in the darkness
still matter I’ve found they’re shining their light yet

positive thought isn’t popular but I bet this isn’t even as good as it gets

navigate all that lies ahead in the distance 
with a sixth sense since it is with this
that each instant that we live is experienced
it’s the spirit deep within which uplifts us

part of me probably ponders it all a bit too much and such but I just wanna know

if change is the only constant then how come when it happens nobody is ready to go?

c’mon man I mean following ancient laws is just nonsense and if it isn’t then how so?

obviously I’m not that into the way this societal system set up status quo

so skewed a selection
we’ll lose the election
whether or not if you’re anti or pro

choose your direction
but use some discretion 
having free will calls for self control

we’re truly entrenched in
unruly and wretched
times but there’s still space for us to grow

school is in session
and love is the lesson
so do not forget about heart mind and soul
