PROXY X HIDDEN AGENDA

This track is the first public fragment of an ongoing collaboration between Parham Ghalamdar in Manchester and Abolfazl Harouni in Tehran. It grew from broken and continuous conversations during the 12 day Iran Israel war, where philosophy, despair, bravery, nihilism, and hope collided with the noise of conflict.

The sounds come from Harouni’s recordings in Tehran. Processed until unrecognisable, they now hover as spectral drones and glitch textures: ghosts of their source. The dialogue between home and exile is etched into the music. One voice stands inside the event, the other at distance, both held in the same unfinished horizon.

Drone Poetry refuses to document. It is a residue. It refuses spectacle and holds space for the affects of war and displacement. This is the first glimpse of a larger project. All future proceeds will go to charities supporting civilians in Palestine and Iran.
