So excited to have @deejayaza in the mix for our 40th episode! We first heard her via the amazing @pprzrecords compilation that came out earlier this year (have you heard it??? CHECK IT). Aza is based in Kentucky / Cincinnati, and has been chugging along there with the hypnotic techno agenda. Pushing new dance music in the Midwest / South...this is what we're all about. Coming from Oklahoma City, a city that is known more for folk and bluegrass than it is hypnotically groovy techno (although UR did come down here at least a time or two for some big raves in the 90s!!), we really empathize with the dancers and DJs building a better rave outside of the coasts. <3 Tap in for this goodie!

Fabrice Lig est considéré par ses pairs et les fans de techno du monde entier comme un producteur de classe mondiale.

Il est bien connu pour son utilisation particulièrement funky du synthé analogique sh101 de Roland, et pour ses mélodies et harmonies particulièrement émotionnelles et personnelles.

Après plus de 20 ans à apprendre en autodidacte les processus de production, la programmation midi complexe et les harmonies, le son de Fabrice est unique et reconnaissable parmi les milliers de sorties techno hebdomadaires.

Des démonstrations de ces compétences apparaissent sur la crème de la crème des labels de musique électronique tels que KMS (Kevin Saunderson), Planet-e (Carl Craig), Submerge, R&S, Third Ear, 7th City Records (Dan Bell), F-Communications ( Laurent Garnier) , Versatile, Classic, Compost, Subject Detroit, Motech, Raygun, Playhouse Records, Kanzleramt (Heiko Laux), 70 Drums (Ken Ishii), Clone, Trapez ltd et j'en passe... Une discographie exceptionnelle sur des labels mythiques, dans l'histoire de la musique électronique.
Fin 1998, après ses premières expériences de DJ et de production, sous les surnoms Interwaves et Bug Orchestra, Fabrice est élevé au rang de l'élite musicale de Detroit par Mad Mike lui-même, grâce à son remix classique du morceau Banjo d'E-Dancer sur KMS : « Fabrice fait partie de l'histoire de la musique de Detroit en étant le premier producteur blanc à enregistrer sur KMS, et le premier enregistrement double groove de NSC ».
Fabrice s'est construit une solide discographie et réputation, confirmée par ses apparitions reconnues dans les meilleurs clubs et festivals du monde tels que Panorama Bar-Berlin, Fabric - Londres, Womb-Tokyo, Detroit Fuse-In Festival, Fuse - Bruxelles, Loft - Barcelone, Sub Club - Glasgow, The End - Londres, Sonar Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival officiel mondialement connu, Festival de Bourges (Sur scène avec Jean-Michel Jarre), pour n'en citer que quelques-uns. L'un des points culminants de la carrière de Fabrice dj est l'article dans la presse Detroit Free où sa performance a été élue meilleur DJ Set du Detroit Fuse-in Festival de 2005.
Fabrice a également collaboré et remixé des artistes comme Laurent Garnier, Kevin Saunderson, Agoria, DJ Hell, Ken Ishii, Kenny Hawkes, Rob Mello, Frederic Galliano, Chymera, Trüby Trio…
Après son dernier album de Soul Designer sur Third Ear (2007), Fabrice a décidé de faire une petite pause musicale et de se concentrer sur quelques projets pédagogiques. Néanmoins, il a sorti son EP classique Purple Raw sur Versatile à cette période, ainsi que quelques EPs propres sur R&S, Subject Detroit, .. à côté de quelques remixes. Ces derniers mois cependant, Fabrice a tranquillement préparé la célébration de 20 ans de musique en produisant un nouvel album avec l'idée de faire un « come back » fort avec du matériel frais pour fin 2014.
Et lorsque Carl Craig a entendu pour la première fois "Galactic Soul Odysseys", il a immédiatement décidé d'inviter Fabrice à rejoindre la prestigieuse famille de Planet E. Une fois de plus, Fabrice work entre dans l'histoire de la musique à travers l'un des labels les plus respectés de la communauté techno.
Fabrice est vraiment ravi d'être de retour en tournée pour des performances live à travers le monde et de présenter ce nouveau matériel à ses fans...

Comme l'a dit Jean-Michel Jarre dans une interview pour MTV : "Ce qui me touche dans la carrière de Fabrice Lig, c'est la façon dont il suit sa propre ligne, sans se soucier des tendances, et c'est le chemin qu'un artiste devrait suivre. Ce n'est pas post Détroit , c'est une émotion"

Acid and Electro have been a solid base for every techno artist since the early days in Detroit, becoming the genres that inspired hundreds of new artists all around the world, filling up the dancefloor with constant energy and making a feeling that represents the music of the future. "Time Revelation" is a mix tape that compiles some of the tracks that influenced me in the last days, including old-school gems from the motor city and lots of new music and artists I recently explored. 

Here is a 2-hour set recorded in my studio where you can lose your mind digging inside those electric melodies. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did recording it.

Madloch's 3rd Avenue proudly welcomes two new names to the label with the Banana Moon EP from Garance and diSoul. The release features four original tracks, Banana Moon, Nuit Solar, Wagon Love, and Vale Cumple, showcasing the distinctive styles of both artists while creating a coherent and atmospheric journey.

Garance, a talented producer and DJ from Geneva, Switzerland, has built an impressive catalogue with releases on Stripped Digital, Balance Music, BeatFreak, Hive Audio and more, while maintaining an active presence behind the decks across Europe.

Her collaborator diSoul, also from Geneva, has long been a respected figure in the local underground scene. Known for a sound that moves between deep, sensual house, tech house and driving techno, diSoul has honed his craft through years of experience. His first album Tale of Life was a collaboration with Dubfunk and later releases found a home on Dyami Records (UK). As a DJ, he has shared stages with artists such as Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Barem, Florian Meindl, Mendo, Re:Axis, Ripperton, Dachshund and Masaya.

Together, Garance and diSoul bring a refined and diverse sound to 3rd Avenue, marking a strong label debut with the Banana Moon EP.
