Equally as creative as a solo artist as he is working alongside a selection of regular collaborators, San Francisco’s Andrew Rasse, aka Butane, continues to expand his rich discography of quality productions across house, techno, minimal and beyond. Fresh from a run of releases on his home imprint Extrasketch, September sees Rasse back alongside fellow studio partner and Alphahouse alumnus Andras Toth as the pairing return to the label for the fifth time with ‘Reaction’. 

Opener ‘The King Is Dead’ is a low-slung minimal production peppered with punchy tribal drums and icy hats, while ‘Weather The Storm’ remains decidedly deep but takes the energy up with a driving bassline and off-kilter rolling percussion, creating a snaking, hazy groove. ‘New York New York’ is a freeform funky tech house cut, with acid-fuelled stabs and warping electronics which create a smoky late-night affair.  ‘Elevate’ sees the pair dive deep into a drummy, cascading trip through hypnotic heavy metallic techno textures. To close, ‘Little Reminder’ mixes playful organic tones with a heady groove to offer up a certified after-hours cut.

In the neighbourhoods of Dortmund (Germany), before the world became digital, Rhom Omit started discovering different kinds of electronic music and found his passion for variations of House, Techno and their sub-genres. Shortly after Rhom Omit got noticed and was invited to perform at clubs in Dortmund, Cologne and Frankfurt and most notably, at one of Germany’s biggest electronic music festivals, the Nature One.

In 2015, Rhom Omit moved to Beijing and established himself as a well-
known DJ in China and Mongolia. He has performed in China’s most

respected Techno and House venues including Lantern, Zhao Dai, Wigwam, TAG, Gōng and at the INTRO Electronic Music festival. In 2016, Rhom Omit started his BLACKOUT project, a platform for creative experiments in Techno, Minimal, Acid, Deep House and everything in between. Eduardo De La Calle, Wrong Assessment, Tadeo, Cesare vs. Disorder, Marcus L, Johannes Volk, Exos and other international artists were invited to form legendary BLACKOUT nights in Beijing. 

Over the past years, Rhom Omit has defined his own style and shaped it into a distinct blend of Minimal, House and Dub Techno. His particular sound is present throughout his DJ sets and his own productions.

After leaving China in 2020, he has fully dedicated himself to music
production. Most notable, he will make his debut on Serialism Records with
his first release and will publish a remix for San Bolsa Music in 2022. Besides, Rhom Omit is running his new project FILMRISS with first successful appearances in Bratislava. Further European and South American cities are coming in 2023.

Acteur de premier plan de la scène électronique française, Damien Almira aka Timid Boy
est un hyperactif : DJ, producteur, journaliste, organisateur de soirée et boss des labels
Time Has Changed et Almira Records.

Immergé dans la musique depuis son enfance, Damien passe par dix ans de piano classique
au conservatoire avant de tomber amoureux de la musique électronique. 
Il découvre les raves dans les 90’s et se met à mixer dans les clubs de sa région montpelliéraine.
Arrivé à Paris pour ses études de journalisme, il devient Rédacteur en chef adjoint 
de Trax Magazine et développe sa carrière de DJ sous le pseudo Timid Boy.

Il fonde avec succès Time Has Changed, emblème du renouveau house 
(Oxia, Barem, Mihai Popoviciu, Dennis Cruz, Matthias Meyer...).
Son amour du groove et son sens du dancefloor ne passent pas inaperçus: Ellen Allien lui
propose de devenir résident des soirées BPitch au Rex Club, le légendaire club parisien lui
offre sa label party Time Has Changed et Resident Advisor lui consacre sa homepage
pour son « Mix of the Day ».

Les demandes internationales s’accentuent et Timid Boy s’envole au quatre coin du monde:
Panorama Bar, Watergate ou Bar 25 à Berlin, Fuse à Bruxelles, Heart à Ibiza, Pacha à
Barcelone, Papaya Playa à Tullum, D-Edge à Sao Paulo, Air à Tokyo...
Il joue régulièrement pour l’émission Cercle, clôturant au Château de Fontainebleau pour
Dubfire ou au Château de Chambord pour Carl Cox.
Toujours en mouvement, Timid Boy est un producteur actif dont les morceaux signés sur
Moan, Roush Music, Saved, Senso, Sci+Tec, Deeperfect atteignent les charts des
meilleures ventes.

Timid Boy entame en 2021 un tournant micro-house réussi et signe sur TBX Records,
Hoary, BienAimer Music, Ibiza Talents, La Chèvre, Blind Vision Dubs… et lance son
nouveau label vinyl only Almira Records (avec iO Mulen, Mihai Popoviciu, Cosenza...).
Depuis 2020, avec son autre projet Damien Almira, il développe avec sa résidence sur Tsugi Radio
une patte plus underground, minimal, future house, break beat… accueillant des invités de qualité
comme Molly, Djebali, Ben Vedren, Ramona Yacef…
Il signe des releases sur le label de cette dernière, Lescale Recordings, et également sur Cyclic de
Mihai Popoviciu, Epice Magique du Français Terence : Terry.
