Over the last 10 years, Arthur Lastmann has been playing around most clubs in France (Concrete, Rex Club, Macadam, Iboat, Djoon…) and had the opportunity to share the decks with the likes DJ Harvey, Hunee, Gilles Peterson, Larry Heard, Lena Willikens, Palms Trax, Red Greg, Soichi Terada, Tama Sumo…  Arthur Lastmann played his favorite records in Japan, China, South East Asia, South Africa and Brazil and keep searching for all the obscure records the world has to offer. From small audiophiles venues like Brilliant Corners, to bigger festival stages like Suncébeat 2021 in Croatia, Macki Festival 2023 in Paris or Nova Batida 2018 in Lisbon."

Step Daw는 크루 'INTO THE DEEP'의 창립자로, 2011년 Arthur Lastmann과 함께 시작하여 2012년 이후 파리 언더그라운드 전자 음악 씬의 혁신에 핵심적인 역할을 해왔다. Djoon을 시작으로 Badaboum의 레지던시를 거쳤으며, Concrete, 6B, La Machine, Batofar, Wanderlust와 같은 파리를 대표하는 클럽과 공간에서 프로모터로 활동하며 다양한 아티스트들과 협업하였다. 대표적으로 Hunee, Palms Trax, Antal, Larry Heard, Jane Fitz, Lena Willikens, Gilles Peterson, Joey Negro 등을 꼽을 수 있다.

2015년 부터는 현대 전자 음악에 특화된 'Into The Deep Records’ 레코드 레이블을 운영, 이 후 2019년에 서브 레이블 'Into The Deep Treasury’를 창립하여 전 세계 곳곳 에서 음악을 발굴하고 재발매하는데 전념하였다.

2018년에는 프랑스 낭트에서 ‘Bubble Jam' 콜렉티브를 창립하여 우리가 흔히 클럽으로 생각하지 않는 의외의 장소에서 소규모 파티를 기획하는 프로젝트를 진행하였다. 그는 2021년 ’Abstrack' 의 크루 및 레코드 레이블에 합류하여 현재까지도 활발한 활동을 이어오고 있다.

Founder of the crew INTO THE DEEP in 2011 with Arthur Lastmann, they played a key role in the renewal of Paris underground electronic scene as a promoter in most clubs and music venues since 2012. Helding a residency at Djoon first, then Badaboum, he has been around most of the clubs in Paris (Concrete, 6B, La Machine, Batofar, Wanderlust) and shared the decks with the likes of Hunee, Palms Trax, Antal, Larry Heard, Jane Fitz, Lena Willikens, Gilles Peterson or Joey Negro.

Step Daw also started “Into The Deep records” in 2015, a record label specialized in contemporary electronic music. 2019 have seen the creation of Into The Deep Treasury, sub-label dedicated to reissues of music from around the globe.

During 2018, Step Daw moved to Nantes, France and founded the Bubble Jam collective to offer intimate parties in atypical places outside the club circuit. Step Daw also joined the Abstrack crew & record label in 2021.

Luke delivers a 2.5+ hour marathon — a morning-time sipper that eases into an afternoon dance delight. It’s a lush journey through summertime spiritual jazz, fusion, soul, and disco, all pulled from crates at the iconic Last Bookstore in downtown LA.

Over the years, Luke has spent time digging at the shop, which he says holds a very special meaning to him. Hence the name of the mix: “Fifth and Spring.”

This is a mix of little records - 7 inches. Small 45 rpm discs, the 'wee ones'. We're not talking about rabid hip hop completist shit, or pointless house classics on 7" or anything like that, this mix is more leftfield, worldy, scratchy dub leaning electronic and afro funk obscurities that you or me do not own, do not know the titles of and will likely never find in a record shop. A healthy dose of different styles on here, wicked sounds. All forms of rocking. Take it away P.....
