Mario Domján, born and resident in Hungary is the artist behind Collective Machine. It’s not odd that his work echoes in worldwide known artists making himself indispensable in the sets of artists like Marco Carola, Hot Since 82, Steve Lawler, Maya Jane Coles or Nick Curly with whom he played B2B .

Not only by his excellent sets is he known. His passion in the studio and his tireless work searching for the perfect sound has opened the doors of the most recognized record labels in the international scene. 8Bit Records, Knee Deep In Sound, Deeperfect, Elrow Music, Bedrock, Stereo Productions, are only some of the labels where he has published his tracks the last couple of years. Without forgetting the remix he made for Plastikman under his previous alias Domyan in the legendary “Minus 100 Compilation”. Mario has also his own Label, “Collective Music”

►Biography

Márió Domján a.k.a. Collective Machine is one of the artists who first became a professional DJ then started to write his own songs. Due to his DJ presence he knows exactly from which music will start shaking the audience. 

As a producer his first release came out under the name of well known labels. With the artist name Domyan he made a remix for Plastikman which was released on the legendary M_Nus 100 compilation, and with the same alter ego got on Maya Jane Coles Dj Kicks mix too.

He could be called as a resident of KD Music which has been running by Kaiserdisco because only in 2013 four times were released his songs at this label. His first album released by the Hoehenregler Records, leading by Basti Grub. He choose this German label because he earlier made an LP with Larry Peters which has similar soundings and it was released by this label.12 fantastic tune a real trip arround the world!

In the international electronic music life he became more and more respected, till today so many DJs had been played and included in its top lists his songs that it is almost impossible to mention everybody, however there is a few significant artists who are playing Collective Machine’s music: Carl Cox, Luciano, Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Hot Since 82, John Digweed.

Márió has an unbelievable respect for the world of electronic music and of course for music in general, he worked together with 20 labels this year and he entertained hundreds of thousands of electronic music lovers across more than 10 countries. He also attended in the Burn Residency DJ competition and won the 1st Prize in Hungary. Then he flew to Ibiza and participated in the final challenge but the manager of Privilege did not choose him to be the winner although it is remarkable that Márió won his place from 5.000 of competitors.

He is a multicolored performer with exceptional technical knowledge which was also said by Valentino Barrioseta / leader of mentors at Burn/ in the summary video of the competition. Steve Lawler was also impressed by Márió’s performance, he said in a 
Resident Advisor’s interview that he was positively surprised by the Hungarian competitor’s performance.

Collective Machine is able to bring fresh energy wherever he goes he takes his audience in the party mood indifferently if he plays in a small club or at a big festival.

 She had 5 years of parallel residency in Slovenia & Croatia & also played numerous great events like: EXIT festival, ADE, Festival DeVet in Belgrad, Overlake, EMAC, Kangra,& allnighter in the famous Club 1 in Zagreb in his last days before closing.
Playing across all of Europe and the Balkan area, Istanbul,Cairo,London,Poland,Amsterdam, Hurgada & of course her big love Berlin where she lives & play now.
 In 2013 she started LIQUID events bringing a fresh experience to the underground scene of Croatia. Choosing crazy locations, bold line-ups, and massive sound systems LIQUID also worked outside Croatian borders in Slovenia & Austria… Her profound musical taste is also to be seen in her Proton radio guest mix collaborations and all LIQUID bookings. There she worked with old pioneers of Balkan electronic music like :Felver, Pion, Pacco, Marc Grabber, Tom Jay, Petar Cvetkovic, Silvio Hrabar,Haris Custovic & hosting some great artists like :Dimitri Monev,JP Elloriaga, BRLEE, Jonas Saalbach, Guzy, Dejan Milicevic, Adoo,Oscar Poulsen,Jaime Bustos … As well a proud owner of 40 podcast & radio shows all around the globe! She shared the decks with Citizen Kain, James Zabiela, Undercatt, Collective Machine, Detroit Swindle, Isolate, Moodplex ,Poul Anthony, Nick Devon, Olivier Weiter, Mark Tarmonea, Omar Khalifa, BRLEE, MPathy ….

A Guernsey based DJ, Toby is recognised for his underground sounds at local clubs, bars and festivals.

Toby is heavily influenced by the deeper side of the underground genre, inspired by labels such as Anjunadeep, Afterlife and Knee Deep In Sound. These unique, deep flavours have become a staple in his sets across the island, providing the Guernsey music scene something fresh and intriguing.

In 2020, Toby co-established Deeper Grooves - an underground movement advocating the deeper essence of house and electronic music, providing many successful events across the local music scene.

This established array of sounds has lead Toby to be a go to name on line ups for local club events and festivals. Most recently playing along side Biscits (Solotoko) and having a short residency at AC Bar Beach Club in Koh Tao, Thailand.
