Javier Fernández, as known as JHAY, is a DJ and producer from Malaga who started in the world of electronic music at the early age of 9 when he inherited from his uncle some Akiyama turntables and a suitcase with vinyls, which became his favourite toy. Born into a family of artists, music has been part of his upbringing since childhood. That is why he also decided to train himself as Sound Technician in his adolescence, a profession that he currently combines with his musical career.
His first steps were in the Break-Beat genre and after that, his eagerness to study and experiment with different styles led him to opt for Tech House, Techno and Deep House.
In the last years, his professional career has been evolving thanks to performances in some of the most emblematic clubs in the city of Málaga such as BOA ROOM, D'Sastre, Passion or Palladium as well as performing at private events in Marbella and Sotogrande. He has shared DJ booth with DJ's such as Matt Sassari, Uto Karem, Marcos in Dub, Mario Biani, Angel Heredia, Caal Smile, Miguel Picasso, etc...
As producer, he debuted in 2020 with his first track "The Beat", with the label Low Groove Records. His second creation in this facet comes from the hand of Strictly Records in 2021, with the release of the EP "Keta" where you can already see the particular personality of the artist. JHAY is synonymous with authenticity and mixing technique.
Reluctant to stereotypes and trends, he walks his way step by step, without shortcuts and always staying true to his essence, believing in every move he do and putting all his passion into it.
