Emerging in the early '80s, she demonstrated a keen inclination for the obscure and intense sounds of genres like post-punk, darkwave, and EBM from an early age. Immersed in the atmospheric vibes of iconic Madrid venues of that time, she cultivated her musical identity as a tastemaker.

Her sessions are marked by a natural ability to intertwine diverse styles seamlessly. Drawing inspiration from electro, techno, and both classic and contemporary EBM, she crafts a sonic journey that is not only unique but also constantly evolving, providing an unpredictable and immersive experience for her audience. Following the label’s last release from Dumitrescu, the UK-based label Myriad returns with a stunning vinyl release, with Czevski (the alias of a well-known UK producer) and Tulbure both contributing two tracks each courtesy of the stunning Secunda Dominica EP.
Label founder Louie says that working with Tulbure and Czevski feels especially meaningful, as their music had a strong influence on his early sound:
“Long before the label started, both of them had a big impact on how I connected with music, so it’s a real pleasure to be collaborating with them now.

Looking ahead, Myriad has more music on the horizon, including a release from another UK-based artist and close friend of the label. For now, the rest remains under wraps; a reflection of the label’s approach to letting things evolve naturally.

Expect the unexpected. That's the philosophy Rotterdam-based DJ mad miran promotes in her DJ sets. A regular on the Dutch capital's mainstay Red Light Radio and a face behind the counter at the infamous Clone record shop, Miran has fast become one of the country's most promising DJs. 

Although she only played her first DJ set in a club a couple of years ago, she's already landed a residency at Trouw successor De School and become part of the Strange Sounds From Beyond family, seeing her name spread like wildfire and lead to a string of gigs across Europe.

We invited her to dive into her record bag for us and the result is 80 minutes of leftfield electro, raw breaks and introspective electronica. Enter into the crazy world of mad miran...
