I live in Bangor, Northern Ireland, a seaside town where I was born and raised. I play gigs on Fridays and Sundays in the local bars - the Jamaica Inn and the Rabbit Rooms respectively. I cover mix of oldies from Johnny Cash to Johnny Rotten.

I like playing pool, drinking Guinness, going to gigs, eating spicy food, and designing stuff on my Macbook. My favourite bands are Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam, Kula Shaker and NOFX. Folk Dope is the title of my 2018 full length album available on mint green vinyl pressed by Feedbands. All songs are original compositions.

Don’t Shoot are an exciting 5 piece indie / alternative rock band based between Northern Ireland and Glasgow. Signed to Broken Road Records.

In 2013 Don’t Shoot created quite a stir in the NI local music scene with the release of their 4 track EP “Please”, gaining them regular slots with well known NI bands such as Empty Lungs, Making Monsters, abandcalledboy and Hologram. They were also contenders in the Red Bull Bedroom Jam, the only band in Northern Ireland to go through to the knock out stages of the competition.

In 2014 Don’t Shoot have continued their run of good form landing support slots with big names such as More Than Conquerors and Gascan Ruckus. In July Don't Shoot released 'The Wonderkid EP' which got high praise from such reviewers as BBC Across The Line, Chordblossom and BandsNI. 

Off the back of The Wonderkid EP Don't Shoot entered Glasgow's 'Soundwave Music Competition' and after storming through the heats, they played the final at Glasgow's O2 ABC on the 10th of January 2015 and were announced winners on the night.

An experimental synthwave project by Clark Thompson.

Having spent the good part of 15 years writing and recording alternative rock music, my love for synthwave didn't really manifest itself in a big way til a couple of years ago, although the first seeds were planted much earlier by media such as Hotline Miami back in 2012, and the movie Drive which I saw shortly after. Video games and music always had a big impact on me growing up; if I wasn’t glued to a screen, I had my headphones on, and vice versa. My infatuation with the aesthetics and sounds of the time period that the synthwave genre hearkens back to, are largely due to a video game called Vice City which was released in 2002 but was set in a fictitious city in the mid-1980s. I remember playing it as a teenager in my room on my old CRT TV/Video combi, with the in-game radio station blasting Jan Hammer through my Hi-Fi speakers, while I cruised up and down the neon-soaked streets in whatever sports car I could find.
