"Maputo" was written by Marcus Miller who was inspired by the slower pace of life he experienced when visiting Maputo, Mozambique. The song was recorded by Bob James & David Sanborn (with Miller on bass) for a Grammy Award winning album ‘Double Vision’, released in 1986.

This fantastic arrangement is by Bob Driggs of Iowa ,originally for a brass quintet and I have taken a few liberties as usual.

 I've certainly enjoyed the learning process and if I've learnt anything, it's probably that while my playing may not be great ........it's possibly better than my mixing🤣
