Eric Otis 1 is a Los Angeles based composer/producer/bassist/guitarist that specializes in his own creative sub-genre of electronic music, as well as his unique endeavors in big band jazz and jazz fusion.  He's been a session guitarist  and bassist as well as performed on stage at theaters, festivals, and various other venues in the U.S., and abroad.  His music crosses the line from the hard and abrasive to the soft and melancholy, and from tech-driven to serenely acoustic.  Otis's influences range from straight-ahead jazz/classical to electronic, and from progressive rock to underground rap, as well as various genres of world music.  He's released material independently and continues to work in the Los Angeles area as an electric bassist and freelance solo artist/producer.

This project is the vision of Dub Colossus - Dubulah - aka Nick Page. In 1990 he formed Trans-Global Underground with Tim Whelan and Hammid Man-Tu, with whom he produced/wrote/played six albums before leaving in 1997. In 2006 Nick decided to concentrate on his favourite alter ego, Dub Colossus. Having signed the project to Real World Records, Nick produced 3 albums for the label, beginning with ‘A Town Called Addis’, which was released in 2008, ‘Addis Through The Looking Glass’ in 2011, and ‘Dub Me Tender Vols 1&2’ in 2012. Where the first two albums focussed on Dubulah & Ethiopian musicians in collaboration, the 2013 mini album ‘Dub Don’t Live Here Anymore’ was more of a UK/Jamaican affair, reflecting the times and events happening locally and globally, the impact they are having on us all….social political and economic. 2014 release ‘Addis To Omega’ takes the project further into explorations of the UK/Jamaican musical heritage, with a little sidestep into other avenues along the way. With guest performances from a wide variety of musicians, this album delves into many a musical genre, but wraps it all into one dubby package. Bass Culture meets Dubadelica!


Mixing a vast array of styles which can range anywhere between Electro/Rap/Reggae/Punk/Dance, PJ Higgins personifies the synthesis of multicultural Britain and continually draws stimulus from the sounds around her. Effortlessly transgressing from one genre to the next with unequivocal authenticity she sees music as a device in WHICH to unify, not segregate.

Eclectic by nature, she considers the ability to bounce between genres an asset and not a hindrance, always adding a touch of differentiation to what would otherwise be ordinary. Queen of lyrical subversion, PJ is never shy of creating 'food for thought’, be it with a satirical undercurrent or delivering subliminal enlightenment to the listener.

Three musical and artistic introverts (Paul Schnabel, Gus Ziesing and Ted Looby) came together in the age of cutting and splicing to create music, art and theatre in a studio filled with instruments, paintings and books.   A critic and fellow artist said, "Tattered Thespian sound like Edward Lear poems having a salon de Paris with James Mason ."

Dunia is a singer, composer and instrumentalist who has fronted bands in the reggae, ska and jazzish genres for a long time.  Her bands include Agent 99, Dubistry and Brave New Girl.  She appears on recordings and onstage worldwide.
