Islander

ELGans, Russian producer from the city of Penza, makes his debut on Intricate Records, his EP will be the 7th release in the label’s catalog. Since 2005 Alexander is constantly in search for new approaches in various genres of electronic dance music. His current preferences are Breaks, Drum’n’Bass, Techno and House. His original works have attracted instant attention because of remarkable energy and beautiful melodics; many of those were released on labels including LW Recordings, N-Bass, Heping, A-Breaks and Neat4Beat. Alexander also has some experience in international collaboration – together with UK-based vocalist Steve Howard he co-produced a track entitled «No Turning Back». A new round of creative experiments performed ELGans led to this extended release on Intricate Cuts in the beginning of 2014. The opening track, «Frankie», denotes the warm-hearted feelings of the musician to the broken beats, while the second one, «Tell Me Why», is a vivid example of modern deep house with a core persistent bass line and trendy ululant male vocal part with echo effect. The third track, entitled «With Me», in contrary, emphasizes the affectionate female voice and percussions.

Based in the world, made in Berlin and powered by the audience: this is Einmusika Recordings. Founded by label boss Einmusik end of 2008, the imprint has grown to a large family with members from Beirut, Toronto, Madrid, Amsterdam and many more cities. To celebrate 10 Years of it's creative journeys and visions, Einmusika asked some friends and highly respected musicians to pick their favourite track from the past 10 Years for a very particular remix. Get inspired by a drifting version of Tim Engelhardt's "Trust" delivered by Nico Stojan. "Imagine" a wild and liberating summer with Markus Kavka's interpretation of Marc DePulse and put your dancing shoes on when Gabriel Ananda's remix of Betoko's "Foreverness" flows through the speakers.

„No Human Is Illegal" was the message Budakid has sent in 2016 and Mira & Chris Schwarzwalder keep on spreading this special and important word through a lovely and deep version of it. Marco Resmann asks: "Does Your Love Fade Away" with a darker and techy interpretation of the classic from Piek. Uplifting and right in time for the summer comes Eelke Kleijn's "Visions" with a dreamy and melodic attitude and some typical Amsterdam sounds. The original by Pysh was released in 2015 and still shakes the clubs.

Every Journey Creates A New Sound - Einmusika's trip continues and the label will manifest itself with many showcases and own festival stages till the end of 2019.

Celebrating 200 releases, Colorize is delighted to present Colorscapes Volume One.

The first in an annual series of exciting compilations, this is a landmark release for the label who recruits leading artists Matt Fax and Dezza for two thrilling mixes that feature 35 exclusive tracks showcasing the most exciting acts in Progressive, Deep and Melodic House.

On Colorscapes Volume One, Matt Fax and Dezza bring together established Colorize names like PRAANA, Andre Sobota, Anden, Sound Quelle, Boxer, Hexlogic and Milkwish with exciting label newcomers like Pete K, Murtagh, Rylan Taggart, farfetch'd, Andromedha and Tripswitch. Matt Fax brings two electrifying remixes to the compilation with 2005 techno sensation 'Rej' by German act Âme and British DJ/Producer D.O.D.'s 2018 house hit 'Glow' getting reworked in remarkable fashion. The mixes build and swell organically with both DJs flexing their talents effortlessly, creating two exhilarating mixes that will take you on a voyage into the deep and progressive.

With Matt Fax and Dezza reaching new heights as artists and becoming concrete names in the world of Progressive House, this compilation comes at an exciting time for Colorize. Since his first release on the label in 2013, Matt Fax has seen immense growth as a producer through releasing impressive, genre-expanding singles and his debut artist album Contrast in 2017, and as a DJ having played a run of shows from Europe to Asia in 2019 as well as the Progressive Stage at Electronic Family in the Netherlands. Canadian DJ/Producer Dezza has also had a whirlwind of a year, releasing his debut artist album Cosmos, a tour of Australia, ASOT900 and then playing at the Budlight Dreams festival in Toronto in June. The two artists also headlined a sold-out show at London's Oval Space in July for the first Colorize event.

Colorscapes Volume One will be supported by a launch party at London's renowned venue Egg on the 22nd of September which will see Matt Fax and Dezza headline with support from Amy Wiles, Boxer, Sound Quelle and Steve Brian pres. Cabriolet Paris. An official label event will also be held in October during Amsterdam Dance Event, followed by a North American co-headline tour from Matt Fax and Dezza that will feature other prominent Colorize artists.

French-based duo The Dualz return to Anjunadeep with their ‘Inside Me EP’. Having previously released on labels including Ben Böhmer’s Ton Töpferei, Way Of House and Parquet, Kevin and Geoffrey affirm their strong chemistry as producers with three stand-out melodic house tracks.

 Opening the EP is title track ‘Inside Me’, first heard on Anjunadeep 11, which features a gorgeous lead vocal layered with a bouncing percussive groove. ‘Day By Day’ is filled with dark fluttering arpeggios whilst closing track ‘Beyond’ leads with a dreamlike vocal accompanied by pulsating synths.
