On this one I tried to bring my own touch to the track, while adding some new percussive and orchestral flavors to complement the guitar melodies. so this is my first single. i love doing remixes, but my dream has always been to make originals that stand up with all the amazing songs i love... and this song is really special to me - it's one of the first times that i'm finally close to getting out what I hear in my head, of course with the help of Lyon Hart, an amazing singer-songwriter who I think is going to be a star. when i heard the vocal demo, i was blown away and yelling and stuff and my roommates were like wtf is wrong with you and i didn't care cuz i was so excited. 

the track is is a little grittier and heavier than some of my other stuff, but i think there's a kind of beautiful energy in starting from a dark place, and thinking to yourself "fuck it, i'm literally going to be the king of everything", and using that insane idea to pull yourself into the light. did that make sense? it totally made sense in my head. in any case, i'm so thankful for all the support i've gotten and so so so excited to be putting out original music, and this is just the beginning of a ton of (hopefully) great original stuff coming soon <3

Chris Murith is no stranger to the electronic music scene having started off in Switzerland in the 80’s as a DJ on one of Switzerland’s top stations, and producing for various international artists. It is a pleasure for us to welcome Chris to Colorize with his groovy new EP, 'My Lovin'.
