Finnish finesse features in boundless energy through the effervescent sounds of Movement Machina. A rising star in the dance music firmament finds a sprinkling of stardust at the inception of a glittering Anjuna career. Taking "No for an Answer", organic and synthetic blend in a whirlpool of melodic counterpoint. The sun shines brightly lighting up a coruscating arpeggio sequence as hypnotic and eloquent as the eddying current in their kaleidoscopic colour of refracted movement. Hailing from The Netherlands, Martijn van Dam and Frank Visser are two friends that have been producing music together since childhood. Both have been making waves lately with their exceptional "Not The Same / Sakura" release. This time they are back, and debuting their two new tracks on Mind Over Matter Records.

Call Me and Gamma Five are two genre-bending dancefloor destroyers that combine deep dancefoor-friendly grooves with melodic and atmospheric bliss. Call Me combines various organ-played melodies and pitched vocals into a catchy groove, where Gamma Five uses distorted stabs and pianos to create an even fresher take. Both tracks have that exceptional groove that only Four Days and Levitone are able to cook up in their studio.

On remix duties is Katrin Souza and Niko Lindhé. Katrin Souza has been on fire ever since her La Guitarra release earlier this year and remixing the likes of Scotty.A and LTN on Enhanced Progressive fame. Her remix brings a high-octane and deep progressive roller taking a more atmospheric approach to Call Me. Sweden's own Niko Lindhé, who recently debuted his "Golden Rays" release on LuPS records, has put his own mark on Call Me as well, influenced by both progressive chords and hints of 80s vibes, but still remaining that deep, melodic vibe of the original.

Firmly established as a bedrock of the progressive and melodic techno sound, Anjunadeep has scaled new heights in the past 12 months with support coming from acts as disparate as UK techno baron Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Eric Prydz, Groove Armada’s Andy Cato and stadium-filler Deadmau5 – the latter commenting on Michael Cassette’s Anjunadeep anthem ‘Ghost In The Machine’: “I haven’t felt this good listening to a piece of music since Eric Prydz’s ‘Melo’ -10/10”. 

Showcasing the full spectrum of the label’s diverse sounds, Anjunadeep 03 is the latest annual label collection and features 29 largely unreleased tracks that range from deep, dark and hypnotic techno sounds to upbeat, uplifting electronic house grooves.

Beginning on the lush techno of Stephen J Kroos’ ‘Micrsh’ and the beautifully brooding deep house chasms of Martin Roth’s ‘Deep Style’, Anjunadeep A&R James Grant’s CD1 mix continues to build through melodic techno and progressive textures with tracks and remixes from Underworld, Spooky, Michael Cassette, Andrew Bayer and promising newcomer, Soundprank.

On the second disc, Anjunadeep mainstay Jaytech shows off a slightly more upbeat and uplifting electronic house sound that touches on nu disco, electro and more classic house grooves and includes Jaytech’s own forthcoming anthem ‘Djembe’, as well as deep audio offerings from Solarity, Dinka, PROFF, Interplay and Maor Levi. 

To celebrate the release of this flagship release, Anjunadeep is holding a brace of transatlantic launch parties. The first will take place at the world-famous Ministry of Sound on Friday 4th February, where Jaytech and James Grant will be perform a 4 hour back2back set for The Gallery.
