as a collector i've created/curated soundtracks for art exhibitions, contemporary dance & fashion shows (in addition to playing records in bars, cafes & clubs). my personal preference is to take old records & try to make something new. it's a rather humbling experience to select second-hand records: all too often the dead dreams & failed aspirations of previous artists. vinyl itself is an obscure & obsolete media, yet sourcing them locally sustains local economy, provides positive transactions, often doubles the value of the small investment & occasionally leads to social contact that seems priceless. there are plenty of people already playing the game of consuming the latest rave reviews & selecting whatever this month's fashionable sub-genre happens to be. they do it well. i choose to do it differently. hopefully you'll enjoy listening to the mixes. 

The Color Tapes label launched in 1982 and was the brainchild of a 16yo Gary Ramon after being inspired by cassette labels such as Fuck Off Tapes, Weird Noise and other UK DIY labels, and also by the music of the late '70's and early '80's such as Cabaret Voltaire, Suicide, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Throbbing Gristle, Fad Gadget, as well as electronic musicians such as John Cage, La Monte Young, Stockhausen, Pierre Henry, Moondog, and hip hop electro pioneers Afrika Bambaataa and Grandmaster Flash that were being discovered after the Kraftwerk assault with "The Man Machine". 

The label relaunched in 2014 with "Cold Waves of Color" for a series of vinyl & CD compilation albums taken from the labels 1980's archives and select reissues from a choice of more than 75+ albums. 

The majority of these tracks are electronic based music made by synthesiser, drum machines, sequencers, EMS VCS3, Minimoog, Korg MS-20, Roland Juno 6, TR-808, TB-303, DMX and Linn Drum, so you know how they could sound. Machines that today fetch high prices and are in electronic museums or big collections. 

All the tracks are remastered from original analogue source tapes by Denis Blackham, and these are must-have recordings for electronic, synth and cold wave collectors.

mega globalist house parties are there for people , many without any or own musical preference.If it's not for the love of music personal preference and taste then it must be for image and appearance only it's empty!

Zorz, is an alternative grandiose with a solid talent to assess new musical modes, delivering unpredictable dj sets combining different genres, creating unique, intense soundscapes for each dance floor through interacting with the crowd. Co-owner of music label Untag, Resident Dj of Pi Electronics and Prima Materia, curator of Creatures of Light show for Lyl radio. He has performed at various events, clubs and festivals around Europe like Berghain, Intergalactic FM Festival, Astron, Ohm, Stardust, etc.
