Tons of liquid metal, flowing smoothly, formed a grotesque silhouette. This was the birth of a new titanium. The program of creating anthropomorphic biorobots, imbued with the latest generations of guns implanted in them, was giving results. The metal giant resembled a human only in general features. An Indian demon mask was used as a prototype of the face, and the body was covered with protective layers of harder alloys, like scales. In obedience to the sequence of programs, the giant, along with a new detachment of recruits, headed for the steppes with the aim of destroying the last independent colonies and cities.

Unbeyond Anthologies are pleased to present LUCID’s solo debut on the label in the form of her new EP, “Found Footage”.

Opening on a stark and desolate note with “on a dark and stormy night” that sets the tone for what is to come, this project mixes ghastly deathstep atmospheres and production with a thrilling retro futuristic horror theme. Songs such as “Good Intentions” and “Foreshadowing” throw their weight around with devastating impact, a seamless blend of old and new sonic textures.

“ALARM” slows down the pace with heaving sound design and wailing melodies, the tempo mirrored by the title track with its sinuous growls and anthemic synthwave leads. “Survive” contains frazzled flows and dizzying trap percussion, while the closer “Midnight (Credits)” ends on a delightfully ghoulish downtempo drop.

“My first EP since ‘BLOODSHED’ in 2021, and with a much more in-depth tracklist and theme. Speaking of, when starting the title track, I was very into GREYLOCK, an online analog horror with some found footage segments, with the title track directly themed to tape 10 of the series. The more general musical ideas and tone started finding their way into more of my projects of the time and continued to be fleshed out until I collected the songs and made the theme more concrete.” said LUCID. “Although not personally attached to me like my albums, I do find this to be a very important step in my music, so I hope it shows.
