This special edition B-sides of sorts is called "Of Epic Proportions" and is a closing thought to our record released this past August 2010, "The Disaster."  It is only available digitally, accompanied by a large screen printed poster, designed by yours truly. 

A little thought about each track:

Howling at the Moon// This is one of our new favorites to play live with layers of vocals and the thought of a werewolf being chased by the sun. It has a hint of the Orient with a hammer dulcimer played by our violinist Ben and wind chimes played by our booking agent and friend Jay Williams.

God and Me REMIX!!// As a team we put the opening song of our last record, God and Me, in a blender and poured out the goodness in a completely new tray. We love experimenting with braking up former melodies and creating tension using a new spin on elements that were once familiar to the listener. 

Animal// One of the first songs we wrote as a band. We love the gang vocals at the end of this one. It is sassy while exploring the world of a woman's need to be known. 

Casualty// Formerly called "Soldier Boy," we really explored new avenues with this one while we were in the studio. It expresses the hurt of a soldier away fighting a war and a mother's heart about the matter. Symbolic of living in a world that makes it easy to wonder what we are doing here, and where is God in it all.

Little Baby Sister// This is an acoustic song that reminds Kelsey and Gabe of the early years of the Kopecky Family Band. Sitting around with acoustic guitars and harmonizing in an open room to hear the organic echo of tile and wood floors. It's sweet and simple.

it baffles me how someone could just plant a tree, and leave it be
