Drbora is a true experimentalist- blending traditional native sounds with electronic synthesized beats.

A self confessed “Tabla Player by tradition, Drummer and percussionist by choice and electronic producer by passion“, his interests include Jazz, funk, rock and electronica.

His unique sound is driven by the deep underground sounds of DNB, Dubstep, Deep House and electronic fusion, and draws inspiration from Indian Music, Spanish Flamenco, Rock and Heavy Metal and Jazz.

Having been released on London’s Flak Records label and founder/CEO of Quokka Records here in Perth, DRbora is also heavily involved with Gypsymasala, Wriggle On,Chaos Engine, Masonik and the Freo Grasshoppers.

Drbora delivers works that experiment with different genres – challenging convention and inventing styles sure to entertain and intrigue.

I am an aquatic,flightless bird living in Antarctica. My usual activities are hunting krills, fishes and squids.. When i am spending my time on land, i enjoy creating dance, techno , trance music and dancing with them with my penguin friends during the nights..
