Dresdener Jonas Woehl kicks off the fall season by bringing his driven and melancholic style to Simina Grigoriu’s Kuukou imprint for the first time, in the shape of two original tracks and two remixes.

The release opens up with a slow paced, gradually unfolding melody. Lasting is a poised, laid back piece whose dance-inducing groove is fit for the mellower times of a set, ready to wind up the crowd.

Times dives in with a bit more panache, in the same progressively unraveling manner. Using metallic synths and zig-zagging riffs, the artist channels a dark ambient in a highly dynamic composition.

Julian Wassermann swoops in on the remix, turning it into a winding slice of late night Techno that raises pulses and spirits altogether.

Taking on Times, Munich-based Future Proof showcases his remixing chops, having previously released on labels such as Moonboutique, Whatiplay and Bouq. The result is a morphed, jarring rendition of the original, with an emphasis on a bouncy and impetuous bassline.

We are glad to collaborate with our beloved Nereau Records for this sweet release by DJ/producer Chappano (the alias chosen by Juan Gabriel Campisi Calderon, from Buenos Aires). ‘La Playa’ is like a melancholic sunset on the seaside, something you can only admire. DISCO Milano is happy to have the premiere of the splendid remix crafted by Matias Carafa. His rework features a deep retouch on the low end of the track, with the kind of melodic progression that will drive you crazy – this one is a great pace changer for the darkest nights on the dancefloor.

Imaginary [full album]

We can say that love and music are fuels that ignite the productions of Binaryh, and that consequently take them farther and farther. The musical strength of this couple is reaching greater proportions with each new release, and after a first collaboration of great success with the Prisma Techno, we invite the duo to an EP only with original tracks.

Composed by three tracks, the EP starts with the title track, 'Hydra', which has already been played in major festivals by big techno names such as Tale of Us and D-Nox. The track features an acidic and hypnotic atmosphere, holding our attention continuously until Hydra's revelation: a strongly impacting, intense and energetic drop that releases our deepest feelings on the dance floor. It is impossible not to be affected with such energy!

In the sequence, 'Cerberus' takes us into the underworld through a steady stream, dense bass and outstanding timbres, leading us to a mysterious and engaging climate, until the climax of the track. An intro version of 'Cerberus' is also available, exploring the melody of the original track, as well as the apotheosis elements and unique musical characteristics of its creators. Take a deep breath and immerse yourself in this experience!
