Blackbox Records is a Canadian independent record label, based in Montreal, that specializes in house, Dance and electronic music. Founded in 2021, the label has become one of the most respected and influential players in the Canadian electronic music scene, with a roster of talented artists and a reputation for releasing cutting-edge tracks.

The label was started by a group of DJs and producers who were frustrated with the lack of opportunities for electronic musicians in Canada & around the world. They set out to create a platform that would not only showcase their own work but also provide a space for other emerging artists to release their music and gain exposure.

Since its inception, Blackbox Records has released numerous critically acclaimed albums, EPs, and singles, featuring artists from around the world. The label's signature sound is a blend of gritty, industrial-influenced house, deep house and electro house characterized by its raw energy and emotional depth.
