This concept album is my "Final Major Project" for UH University. 
It is a "Dolby Digital Professional 5.1" surround type of work. 

The concept is based on the story of Tsutomu Miyazaki, best know as “The Otaku Murderer”. He was a very smart Japanese student who suffered with a malformation to the hands. This misfortune shaped his character and his social life, slowly turning him into a paedophile first (taking pictures and videos of his victims) and then into a true serial killer of four female children. After abusing their bodies, he would engage in acts such as drinking their blood and eating their hands (because of his disease he was obsessed with hands). 

Following these murders, the word “Otaku” has assumed a significant meaning, and this is why nowadays it is considered a strong taboo in Japan. 

The album is a representation of the inner journey in the psychology and interiority of the person and the mind that stands behind these murders. It explores the different emotional states, sensations and sudden and strong switches of mood, all narrated through the music. The album consists of brief and diverse chunks, where each one represents a specific mental state or episode of this tragedy. 
Despite the disturbing and macabre tones of this event, I intended to narrate it in a delicate way. Firstly, because the story is told in first person, by the protagonist (the murderer) and secondly, because whilst doing what he did, he was deeply convinced that he was doing something right (“Tell the world I am a gentle man” is what he last said before being executed.) 


Genre and narrative style: I did attempt to amalgamate various elements in order to create a unique and original language to tell a story with; to narrate and describe what (I would like to think) was in the mind of the murderer.

Last February, the Swiss producer David Durango arrive to the label of Marseille The Exquisite Pain Records with an EP with 2 tracks, and in recent months on the label have been preparing for these releases the remixes of the tracks, 2 remixes by some excellent producers, from Leipzig with the producer of Lake People for track ‘Broken Element’ adding that quality producer and more melodic and deep along 7 minutes that we catch them in their melodies; and then from France with another excellent producer, Nhar remixing ‘Bundle Clouds’ with another brilliant remix, with vocoder voices accompanying the wonderful music, with a touch of mystery, magic remix.

Bigfield Remixed is the follow up to Harald Björk’s debut album Bigfield, which was released on Kranglan Broadcast in November 2010. On this limited 300 copies-12″ three original songs are reworked by three of the most unique and brightest shining stars on the electronic music scene. The Swedish club knight Axel Boman, duke of Studio Barnhus and prince of King Koze’s Pampa. Fairmont, beloved jack and hero from the house of Border Community and Kate Wax, sorceress, heroine, duchess, queen. As a bonus there are two original album tracks on the b-side, Din, the shuffly single which also has got a magnificent video and the 10 minute exploding title track Bigfield. The adventure starts with a modest awakening in the world of Fairmont. You want to stay in the warm dreamland but when you finally open your eyes you are standing in a river of love frustration. You try to struggle against these wild, white horses but you lose your footing and get swept away by the tumbling water, the pressure gets too much and you finally lose consciousness. When you wake up you are lost in the loneliest ancient woods of Kate Wax, woods who happen to reveal dark secrets of wrath, despair and doom. You finally get to witness the final Armageddon from the top of a mountain as the night gets darker accompanied by the echoes of doom. Unexpected the sun rises again you stretch out after a heavy night’s struggle; was it all a dream, maybe there is a light in the end of the tunnel after all? Suddenly you are feeling comfortable in a car cruising down the streets with Axel Boman. A still weak memory of mellow thoughts rumbles somewhere in the back of your head but it feels great to be back. On the b-side you have two more songs to write your own adventures for. A.1 Harald Björk - Gryr (Fairmont Remix)

Comakid is a solo art-electronic project, born in 2005. Half of the project "After Crash", he is totally committed to the continuous research and experimentation of sound and its aesthetic, with no boundaries whatsoever. 
He started playing piano at the age of 4, and the drums at the age of 6. The knowledge of basic music theory enabled him to learn the guitar by himself few years later and led him to graduate at the Hertfordshire University in “Commercial Music Composition & Technology”.
His productions are characterized by a wide range of influences: they take inspiration from IDM, Glitch, Orchestral music, Ambient, Musique Concrète, Field Recording, Future Bass, House and UK Garage.
Comakid composes for audio/visual projects such as theatre performances, documentaries and short films with the collective "Bread Knives Productions" and co-owns the Italy based independent music label "Museek".
