A1 sees the captain addressing the passengers in his most charismatic voice while the cabin crew is, well, pumping an irresistible in the air drumbreak over a partly sunny partly funky bassline.
Flip it over to B1 and watch stunt Flyer Ben Aksar turns his ìLeftoversî into an intercontinental  airshow while B2 elegantly shifts gears between a cloudy nightflight and the clear blue sky.

Inspiré du célèbre Walk On The Wild Side, cette adaptation a été joué pour la première fois le 26 octobre 2013, veille de la disparition du regretté musicien. Hommage avant l'heure bien involontaire, l'idée de faire ce titre partait à l’origine d'un simple délire entre potes, au détour d'une virée à l'ouest.

Ce soir là, DJ Premier tient le haut de l'affiche. En attendant le show, Dee Hey Zee, DJ Vince et Ditlef prennent un verre dans le hall. Le classique d'A Tribe Called Quest résonne au dehors. À la question "Can I kick it ?", Dee lance : "Si j'voulais t'la faire à l'envers j'te dirais Yes we can !". Ou quand Obama donne la réplique à Q-tip, alors qu'on annonce justement l'arrivé de Primo sur les planches...

The new Munk album Chanson 3000 has just been released. 
Music press and blogs are writing euphoric reviews. 
"Brilliant", "A work of absolute beauty" ,"Weird, but beautful electronic pop" are just a few description from the UK press. 

"Deceiver" is the new single. A mellow mid-tempo song - based on a strange, but driving, bass-heavy electronic beat, nasty synthlines and the absolute stunning voice of Lizzie Paige - the young American singer that performs all songs on the new Munk album along with London born vocalist Mona Lazette. 

The new single comes along with a great video by Milan based directors PROJ3CTSTUDIO. And remixes by PURPLE DISCO MACHINE (Exploited), new German producer genius LCAW and a country house version by Mr Munk himself.

And here we already are, in the next, the third 12inch round of the Sonar Kollektiv/Daniel Grau remix orgy. This time Ray Mang, Soul Clap, Debonair and Trujillo together with Miguel Molina are in on it.
The Venezuelan six-piece combo Los Amigos Invisibles did re-record „ El León Bailarín” off Grau's album by the same title from 1980 and the UK disco king Ray Mang hand-crafted a bass driven, dubfunky slammer out of it. That's the music the most beautiful girls in town want to wiggle their hips to.
Sitting still will also be no option hearing the extra funked-up remix of “To Night” by US duo Soul Clap together with Bosq. This is, by the way, a brand new track by Daniel Grau (after a 30 years enduring creative sabbatical) and is up to now only available on „The Magic Sound Of Daniel Grau – compiled by Jazzanova & Trujillo” (SK281CD / LP).
The Australian Debonair comes in with his remix for „Atlantis“ (off Grau's 1979 released album „Disco Fantasy“) not less lascivious at all and pyramids the synth chords with added delays in a fashion you start to feel like somebody is pulling the rug out from under your feet. That was probably his initial intention and he succeeds brilliantly.
On the digital release you get another remix of „Delirio En Fa Menor” as a bonus track. On Reworks Vol. 2 (SK 289) there was already an adaption by Berlin based Max Graef and Delfonic. But while their remix could be assigned to the new school of beatmaking, the remix by Trujillo and Miguel Molina belongs explicitly in the crate labelled „Nu Disco“, right before the „Cosmic“ shelf.
This is the sexy sound of Venezuela today!

Last week you could hear Poupon's remix on our very own DHA Records' first release. Next up is a sneak peek at André Lodemann's rework of 'Crumble'.

Crumble by Marlon Hoffstadt is a powerful, almost spiritual slow-burner. Its composition is built around stripped-back percussion and a dreamy, repetitive electric guitar strum. With vocals and guitar work by UK lo-fi band Racquet, the structure breathes an ambient touch that sticks with you long after the music has faded.

Hot Creations deliver ‘Words Gone’, the first single from the forthcoming artist album ‘Love Somebody’ by Parisian luminary Popof.

Featuring the handsome voice of Arno Joey, ‘Words Gone’ is a stunning slice of electronic music with crossover appeal, giving us a taster of what is in store for the album. Cadenza boss Luciano’s remix dives into tribal percussion, while main man Jamie Jones flips into a new gear, introducing a new melody, deep pads and emotive keys. Canadian techno legend Marc Houle is last to remix, using a bright synth melody to add a new groove.
