Florian Meindl is to release a new EP on the 2nd of November. Set for release on Florian's established label FLASH Recordings, Collide: Remixes is a collection of remixes of the tracks from Florian Meindl's well received May LP 'Collide'. A collision of analog sounds and styles, Collide takes the listener on a dark techno journey, while the remixers stay true to this. Florian has invited fellow electronic producers Berger, Dubspeeka, Electric Rescue & Avgusto to each bring their individual sound to the remix EP delivering a fresh take on the prominent tracks from Collide. The multi-talented and multi-faceted artist Florian Meindl is renowned for his technical prowess, and over the years has established an impressive producing base for him himself in his Berlin based Riverside Studio complex. After fourteen years of international performances and production, Florian has developed a special collection with his analog equipment, letting them speak for him in music where words just aren't possible.

The tenth instalment of Clergy sees host to the second collaborative project between lifelong friends Jorden Hodgetts and Sam Coates (Cleric and Setaoc Mass) split over two discs. The first disc presents three driving rhythmic orientated tools, 'Odyssey', 'Isolation' and 'Centre of the Cyclone', which are sculpted flawlessly for the dance-floor. You can see a continuous theme surrounding the release, the exploration of escapism is perfectly introduced by a foreboding message courtesy of John C. Lily: "Be in the present..."

The second disc progresses as a means to go on, with the sonic emphasis moving more towards tone and melody. The sweeping pads of 'Madame Butterfly' and the sinister strings of 'subconscious life' give the songs a feeling of satisfying unease, while the electro-twinged melody of '188' evokes emotion from start to finish. Last on the EP is 'Exploration X', an ambient voyage which beautifully rounds off the record. CRG010 will also end the second series of releases on Clergy, starting a new look and bringing in a new photographer for the next series.

Hailing from France [ Wex 10 ] is a relatively new producer whose tracks have gained support from big players such as Chris Liebing. Hard hitting hypnotic techno is his signature sound and 'FAP EP' is no exception. Delivering two cuts, the EP starts with the track that titles the release, 'FAP' boasts a heavy bottom coupled with sparse snare action glued together with a thin layer of string pads. The second track, 'F6', is even harder warehouse techno. Cleverly placed claps help convey the rich atmosphere created by a hypnotic synth line. Two definite techno bombs definitively not for the faint-hearted....
