De Noorderwoordmonoloog is een vast en vertrouwd onderdeel van het programma Noorderwoord. De monoloog gaat over een bekende of onbekende Noorderling, wordt geschreven door een (jonge) theatermaker en opgevoerd door een acteur. Normaal is dat in het Zonnehuis, maar omdat dat deze keer niet kan, hebben we een speciale Noorderwoord-podcast in het leven geroepen. Acteur Johnny Kraaijkamp jr. spreekt daarin de monoloog in die door Nisrine Mbarki is geschreven over Noorderling Paul Scheerder. Zijn bijdrage is te horen in een, uiteraard, door Christine Otten gepresenteerde podcast, muzikaal omlijst door vaste huisband Trio Lampe.

Harbinger, a message to the wac and feeble minded who try and wield the mic. 

This song was a drifter. I initially wrote it back in September, to a beat that was later sold to my disappointment. 

After trying to apply the lyrics to numerous hot instrumentals between then and now, I had no luck - until, one day, fate would have it that the very same producer, who's beat i missed out on, shared another producers instrumental. That instrumental became the lovemate with the drifting lyric sheet. Forever matched as if they were meant to be.

This version of the song may be temporary. Still have no skill when it comes to mixing anything. And personally, I think i totally killed the instrumental in this cut. But, nonetheless I did what I could.  Though, I received an offer from someone with actual Engineering skills, to mix the track. (Fingers crosssed) 



For it's 1 year anniversary and to thank all the listeners that made this track my heaviest, I went back in on the session, and finely tuned the mix with updated skills acquired.
