After its outstanding reception following its initial release back in January, Wankelmut & Emma Louise's infectious single - 'My Head Is A Jungle' returns with a souped up package and is set to be released worldwide on 15TH September via Positiva. Heavily supported by BBC R1's Pete Tong, 'My Head Is A Jungle' was dubbed his 'Essential New Tune' back in February as well as receiving championing support from BBC R1's tastemaker Annie Mac. It comes as no surprise that the single is already platinum in Italy, top 30 in Germany (and rising) and top 5 airplay in South Africa!

Wankelmut who has mainly been deejaying in underground clubs in Berlin such as Sisyphos and MIKZ, became 'Newcomer of the Year' last year (GROOVE Magazine) and has been in high demand as both DJ and Remixer ever since. Wankelmut has a very entertaining and well crafted way of deejaying with a huge variety of styles from Deep House to Techno. Beside playing all over Europe he remixed Gossip, Jay Haze, Lukas Graham and various other underground records which established his status within the Techno House Scene. On his 24th birthday in December 2011 Wankelmut aka Jacob Dilßner uploaded his unofficial remix for Asaf Avidan's "Reckoning Song' to Soundcloud. More than one year later the now official remix has sold 1.3 Million copies on Sony/Columbia, scored over 100 Million Youtube Plays and entered the #1 spot in 8 european countries, as well as being the best-selling track on Beatport last year.

In cooperation with the talented Australian singer Emma-Louise, the duo deliver a finely tuned piece of melodic brilliance. Wankemut's faultless Tech-house production, and Emma-Louise's blissful vocals will have you instantly hooked and will be circling around your head for days to come. In addition to the supreme remix package from Gui Boratto, Kasper Bjorke and Solee, new remixes come from Friend Within, and Marc 'MK' Kinchen, who steps up to deliver one of his much loved MK edits which premiered last Friday on Pete Tong. 

Over the summer months you can catch Wankelmut playing at Urban Art Forms, Big Festival, Melt!, plus back to back gigs across Europe.

Back with another serious heavy hitter, Crosstown Rebels presents the latest from dream team Psychemagik, ‘Black Noir Schwarz’ ­ their first original production not to be self­released and already championed by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1. A club weapon of psychedelically charged, electro­tinged epic proportions, the original is driven by the monster wonky bassline, dark and sultry vocal (from Renata De Sutter aka Renegade) and freaky synths. Spooky keys and chords, and grinding distorted bass bring the track to even murkier depths. UK dance music heroes, avid vinyl collectors and masters of the re­edit, Danny McLewin and Tom Coveney aka Psychemagik first entered the public consciousness with their supreme, balearic pop and 12” disco edits. Minéo has been buried away in the studio for the past couple of years working on music for his new solo project. It's been high time for GUI BORATTO to endow us with another tasty slice of that enticing pop- infused techno of his: since the last Boratto- helmed offering TOO LATE (KOMPAKT 285) had conquered 2013's floors and beaches, we've seen the Brazilian mastermind occupying himself mainly with bringing his own label D.O.C. into position. Now, the Kompakt stalwart returns with TAKE CONTROL featuring Brazilian duo COME AND HELL, his first original material in 2014 and a perfect tune to ring in the summer.

Fitted with a glitzy array of top-tier remixes, TAKE CONTROL presents itself as a strong addition to GUI BORATTO's back catalogue, revelling in the kind of hook-driven pop techno that we love so much. Again dropping silky vocals on top of a well-oiled club machinery, the new track enlists the help of fellow Brazilians COME AND HELL and is an obvious contender for the pole position in this year's dj crates. A wealth of perfectly cast remixes rounds off the release, featuring intriguing takes on the sophisticated source material.
The first out the door are DJs PAREJA, the two Argentinian daredevils responsible for wrecked floors worldwide, thanks to bold releases on gatekeeper imprints such as Cómeme or Huntleys + Palmers. Their version pairs the original's streamlined vocal with the brutish thump of their other work, sending crowds into a frenzy with the flick of a button. In his revamp, US tracksmith DANNY DAZE teases out a similar amount of propulsion, but finds a different level of cray cray with a break as massive as it is insane. Upcoming Amsterdam hotties WEVAL finalize the package with an irresistibly melodic bassline and epic gauge. Perfect run!

Come and Hell is an electronic duo, consisting of Mariana Perrelli and João Komka. They are long-time friends and played together for the very first time in 2012, at 5uinto, their traditional electronic night in Brasilia, which both are residents. Since then, they have been working together in the studio, making music and showing their ideas around the brazilian territory.
