Ousmane is a friend of ours here in Freiburg, where he came as a refugee in 2019. He first moved from the refugee reception centre in Freiburg to a shared accommodation in Offenburg. This year, he then had to move to Renchen near Offenburg. As he is doing his apprenticeship in Freiburg, this means a 3-hour commute there and back every day. Ousmane would like to move to Freiburg and friends of ours have organized a room in a shared flat for him. But as he can't give notice for his shared container room in Renchen, he has to pay two months' rent. We therefore want to use the profits from this EP to support Ousmane during this time. The overall donation target is €2000 so that he can pay the double rent for 6 months.

Coming back with two sharp, prog-infused eclectic jams that unfold oniric motifs against trance and bass-heavy backgrounds, Jet Lag is Syntrovert's attempt to merge prog and trance's signature sonic elements with Balearic and trendy Latin percussive samples, resulting in a fresh, flavorful, and hectic sound.
Jet Lag was created during a flight from Switzerland to Chile, returning from Syntrovert's Mexico and Switzerland tour in 2024. The track captures the essence of the flying experience, where everything feels suspended in a state of stasis at 32,000 feet above sea level.
Released via her personal imprint, Orca Electronic, alongside Steady Motion—a prog-inspired, bubbling track that serves as a melodic tribute to the UT99 game OST.

Polyrhythms spiral like broken timelines, edits twist the past into something unrecognizable, and bass shakes the ground beneath us.

PREMIERE: DJ FRANKIE - SHE CAN'T STOP (LAMBRATECH)

@antepop - This vinyl mix was recorded the day before my birthday - It signals a shift from my downtempo tendencies to explore darker records that is no doubt influenced from my recent relocation from the leafy suburbs of South East London to the dimly lit streets of Neukölln. 

The mix features records new and old. The clock chimes at the beginning are from a dusty old BBC sound effects LP from 1979 that I picked up at a vinyl market in St Ives, Cornwall last year. This leads into Valentino Mora's exquisite Underwater Rephase, which is one of my favourite remixes of the year. I also managed to squeeze in some other favourites including Hodge - Beneath Two Moons, STL - Jungle Sometimes, Shed - Sweep Dreams and Maurizio - MØ6B.

I arrived in Los Angeles in 1989 where I become bi-costal traveling between Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco working in the Film and Music Industry. Dancing in the Sound Factory, End-Up, Ice Factory, Mayan, Orbit, the Cat Club and the underground of LA. I threw undergrounds in downtown Los Angeles and ran a legal warehouse for four years. This is my beginning. It will never end.
