Hey all,

Here’s the recording of the 3,5hrs+ opening set i've played at Globus (Tresor)on September 24th, 2022.

It's by no means a perfect mix, but it was a vibe! I hadn't played in Berlin for a few years due to the pandemic and it was a special moment with friends so it feels right to share it :)

The set goes in different corners of music i've enjoyed playing these past years, even brought back some older deep house records which i hadn't played in a long time, music from friends and artists i love, and some old, new and still unreleased tracks at the time.

@rroxymore made her Campout debut, closing out the Grove on Friday night. She closed things down with absolute style cruising through brilliant, percussive techno and broken beat.

Berlin-based, aptly-named, Irishman The Drifter has made a name for himself as an creator of emotive beats and weaver of hypnotic sets. Through his label, Maeve (run alongside pals Mano Le Tough and Baikal), The Drifter has pushed this sound even further, with offerings such as his forward-thinking Again EP, released back in April.

He recently moved to New York to focus on his new project under his own name. With this project, he already got a well-received EP on New York Trax, the leading track titled "The Oven", with its dirty funk and relentless groove it’s a serious candidate for an all-time classic. 

Connecting the dots between the past and present, he seems to have a clear vision of what the future of electronic music should be.

@naziranazira: I wanted to make a mix of acid tracks. Then I was thinking about what acid music is for me. I associate is with movement, progression, growth, it is sexy and it is like a cocoon that coils itself around you. I was always fascinated by octopuses and jellyfish. And acid is kind of like octopus. So I went and watched a lot of documentaries about them. And when I was recording the mix I was imagining that I am in deep waters and watching them.
