lliyah is an emerging artist originally from the East Coast, now based in Denver, CO. Producing all her music from her home studio, she blends elements of EDM, R&B, and hip-hop, writing and recording her own lyrics and vocals. She studied music computer technology for two years and began private Ableton lessons in 2021, continuing to refine a genre-bending sound that’s as emotive as it is experimental. Inspired by artists like Alina Baraz, Charlesthefirst, Supertask, Mac Miller, Billie Eilish, and SZA, lliyah is carving out her own lane—fusing her influences into something fresh and deeply personal. A rare gem with a bold creative vision and a passion for pushing boundaries—this is just the beginning.

Deeply passionate about nature—the allure of misty mountains, the thunderous crash of waves, and the mesmerizing glow of the full moon fill my soul with joy. Disconnection from the Earth resonates as a profound ache within me; prolonged separation feels like a loss of self. Through my music, I strive to reconnect listeners with the rhythms of nature, infusing my compositions with field recordings from my outdoor adventures. Whether crafting dance tracks, atmospheric melodies, or heavy-hitting beats, my sole motivation is the love of music itself. I've also endured an experience that significantly impacted my hearing, resulting in a substantial loss and the persistent presence of tinnitus—a constant ringing and buzzing in my ears. This challenge has added layers of complexity to the process of mixing and finalizing my musical ideas. Despite these obstacles, I aspire to serve as an inspiration for others who have encountered similar struggles, urging them not to succumb to adversity but to persevere and continue pursuing their passions.
