The second single to be taken from Nitri’s debut LP ‘Zero Chance’ shows a softer side to his music.
‘Going To The Sun’ features the vocal talents of regular collaborator Grimm. The Canadian’s dulcet tones hang delicately over a superbly crafted framework of warm, bouncing bass, subtle synth stabs and sharp drums. Much like ‘Undeserving’ from HZN072, Nitri’s production compliments the vocals without overpowering them, giving them the time and space they deserve to add the spiritual essence of the track.
‘Lies’, featuring Level 2 & Grimm was part of Nitri’s ‘Secrets EP, and our penultimate release of 2013 and what better way to welcome in 2014 than to get the mighty Calibre in for remix duties. Words really do not do this justice, with the Irishman effortlessly stamping his beautifully unique, soulful sound over an already elegant original. Grimm’s vocals again take centre stage backed by the classic Calibre combo of delicate, rolling breaks, understated instrumentation and exquisite musicality. No-one does it quite like him…

After impressing with his recent remix of 'White Lies' and original cut 'Speculate', established experimental EDM producer Elliot Berger, also known by his Drum & Bass alias 'Telomic', is once again bringing deep liquid love to Terra Firma, this time with a fluid two-track EP.

On the flip, Telomic proves he is more than just the master of warm and cosy DnB, with a stone cold and icy track entitled 'Control'. The combination of kick and bass packs a punch, and the additional padded textures leave a sense of mystery lingering in the atmosphere. This one is for the heads!

Following the 360-degree drum & bass experience that is ‘Waveforms’, Logistics continues his three-part EP series, linking the sounds of past, present and future on the ‘Headspace’ EP. With seven solo albums, six EPs and several collaborative releases under his belt, Logistics is one of Hospital Records’ most prolific artists. He’s joined by the lyrical extraordinaire Inja and the vocal stylings of family mainstay Thomas Oliver.

Opening this four-track EP is ‘Stay True’, a sublime dose of rolling liquid with the workings of New Zealand’s singer/songwriter Thomas Oliver. Atmospheric pads, nimble organ work and graceful harmonies come together for an elegant dose of Logistics’ drum & bass mastery.

Following a path of deeper liquid is ‘Rebuild’ with its low rumbling frequencies and super sharp sonics, topped with layers of mysterious atmospherics. Let's be honest. How many seven year old junglists do you know of? Well, the boy who would become Command Strange was just such a child. Growing up in Kazakhstan, the lure of his older brother's jungle and drum 'n' bass proved irresistible, and exposure to the music of icons like Roni Size, Aphrodite, and LTJ Bukem laid the foundations for what was to follow.

By the age of sixteen Command Strange was already releasing music. With a focus on the melodic side of DnB, he quickly got the attention of the scene's elite. The likes of Bryan Gee, Jumpin Jack Frost, Goldie, Hype, Bukem, Fabio & Grooverider regularly supported his productions, and with airplay on prestigious stations like BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, his reputation as one to watch was secured.

And he hasn't slowed down since.

Releases on Fokuz, Metalheadz, Good Looking, Integral, Grid, Horizons, Hospital and Med School have proven his versatility, with the Command Strange sound evolving to encompass harder, nastier styles alongside his pristine musicality. In a scene where releasing one artist album is a major achievement, Command Strange's back cat already includes three of them, “Soul Booster” and “Episode 91” on Fokuz, and “Joy”, his team-up with Intelligent Manners, on Marky's Innerground imprint.

Now exclusively signed to the V Recordings family, and with a reputation as a deejay that's seen him hype crowds across Europe and beyond, Command Strange has racked up achievements that are distant dreams for many artists twice his age.
