Avalanches - Tonight - Commix Remix

On this third release from CODE, we bring up some of the finest names in liquid dnb for remix duties on several Science Fiction classics. Upon their initial release back in 2008 on the now defunct Inside Recordings, "Jah No Dead" and "I Ask You Why" caused quite a stir on the scene for their dub influenced vibes. Limited to only a few vinyl presses, word quickly spread within the scene and copies have long since disappeared. 

By comparison, Bungle's remix of "Spanish Sun" has long been something of a liquid anthem. Originally featured on the flipside of the infamous "Song For Lovers" 12" .. the track was quickly picked up by Drum n Bass Arena as part of their Summer Selection compliation. In more recent years since, Bungle aka Andre Sabota has been pushing his sound into both house and techno whilst still dropping drum n bass anthems like the recent Soul:r release "Astral Travel". 

CODE is now proud to release these three landmark liquid dnb tracks for the first time ever on digital download.

Hace un par de meses los muchachos de The Avalanches, recordados por su amoroso hit Since I left you, subía un enigmático mixtape en la website Pinchy & Friends en el que dejaban entrever la posibilidad de un adelanto. Pero nada, che. Y ayer, el mismo sitio posteó otro misterioso  recopilatorio, titulado Cool Gays by Cool Gaze, que cierra lúdicamente con la canción A track that may or may not be The Avalanches. 

¿Será su nuevo material? Ya lo sabremos, por ahora tenemos la posibilidad de escucharlo y especular.

Finalmente, los chicos de The Avalnches desmintieron que A track that may or may not be The Avalanches sea una nueva canción: “Es en realidad un demo del año 2000″.

Aunque lejos en el tiempo, sigue siendo nuevo para nosotros.
