Berlin based record store and label, Kimchi Records invite you inside their world for a third time this winter, with the next EP from the label landing imminently. Heading up the release is co-founder of everything Kimchi, Patamamba. The South American producer makes his debut on the label showcasing a genre-straining five tracker meandering between classy breaks and innovative electro, all with a certain refined ambience, similar to the energy you feel when visiting their store.

Record will be available for pre order on December 6th in Bandcamp and through One Eye Witness.

This debut EP from Manchester producer Kalcagni brings us 4 slices of deep, vibey electro. Kicking off with EP title track ‘Manners’ which provides 303 acid lines laced with infectious chord stabs and beefy 808 drums. Next up ‘Retox’ takes proceedings even deeper with a soulful, slightly melancholic touch. On the flip side ‘Wrong Fix’ jacks up the BPMs for a wonky electro affair, before EP closer ‘It Knows Me Bad’ rounds things off with oscillator sync bass stylings interspersed with minor chords, modular percussion and punchy drums.

JLM and Chris Wang started the party Love Dancing in 2009 in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Love Dancing, along with Jesse Proudfoot and Chris Allen’s Good Faith,  was a formative dance experience for many of us in Vancouver and an essential ingredient in the Mood Hut stew. The music on this disc dates from that period and captures some of the energy of the Love Dancing parties. We hope you enjoy it.

Label veterans Sleep D crank the dial to 11 and spit out a banging electro mutant that was concieved at Melbounre Electronic Sound Studio early in 2018. Vintage synths are imagined in a new light on 'Shark Tempo' and met with fast-paced klangin drums and a relentlessly hypnotic bass sequence. 

Flip the disc to feel the bass bin shaking sounds of Melbourne via Perth transplant Roza Terenzi that has been making plenty of noise lately. Debuting on the label with a rude, zonked out rave house beast that is 'Paranoia On Tap'. Heard first at her debut live set at Inner Varnika festival early in 2018.
