Well, production has been down lately. Way down. It's a combo of technical issues and lack of time. Long story short, it doesn't look like I'll be posting new music for a bit. As a way to keep the flame burning, I have decided to upload a number of beats that never made the cut. There is some good stuff in here but not on the level I would like. Feel free to comment, good or bad. These are beats that I feel have potential, and I may revisit them for some additional training 😉 These guys all deserve a crack at the ball though! You never know! Remixes are a major part of the electronic music history. The club culture take off on remixes, some of the greatest dance hits where made from remixing original tracks.
Our primary purpose is to highlight this exercise by offering the opportunity to artists to either work on a remix of their choice or offer a track to be remixed by an artist they admire. It is overseen and curated by independent music lovers and supported by The Absolut Company, a brand that is permanently involved in the field of contemporary arts and creation with a tradition of supporting artists such as Keith Haring and Andy Warhol. The Absolut Remix project is dedicated to the art of combining or editing existing materials, to produce something new.

As a start, every last Friday of the month, we will unveil a new remix, from a newcomer or a legend, from disco to techno or IDM and house music. And more to come...

Growing up, music was always a part of my life, but it wasn't until my father's unexpected passing that it became something much more profound. Struggling with panic attacks and existential dread, I turned to meditation as a source of solace and grounding. This new philosophy began to influence my music, and I discovered that instrumental music could complement the present moment and help me relax.

My sound draws inspiration from a range of genres, but I would currently describe it as Meditative Experimental Indie Electronic Music. A combination of manipulated tape field recordings, open marching guitar rhythms, borderline breakbeat drums, and whimsical synths create a unique and emotive sound. On Common Tiger's latest records, I played all the instruments you hear.

My music has been recognized by Spotify and Apple Music, featured on some of their most prominent playlists, but the most meaningful recognition comes from people who reach out to me to say that my music has touched them deeply. When someone tells me that a simple piano song I wrote inspired them to start playing again, I feel like I have accomplished what I set out to do.
