Enhancement is the solo project of Los Angeles-based composer and producer Ben Babbitt. Active across many genres and collaborations, Enhancement is where his most indulgent and debased musical impulses flux through multichannels of processed acoustic and digital textures, orchestral instruments, drum machine percussion and voice. Ahead of B’s post-Meakusma festival set tonight at Les Ateliers Claus, Enhancement will present a mix for the nuanced return to equilibrium after a weekend too dreamlike to remember. Enhancement is the solo alias of LA artist Ben Babbitt. After producing and
scoring projects with artists like Eartheater, Colin Self, Angel Olsen, Weyes
Blood, Bapari, directors Zia Anger, Martine Syms, and Amanda Kramer, and
writing the acclaimed OST for Kentucky Route Zero, Enhancement arrived in late
2024 with ‘Communication’ feat. White Boy Scream and smoldering b-side
‘Ignis Ash’ on his imprint @chlorisworld. 2024 also saw shows across Europe
and the UK, DJ sets at Shygirl’s Club Shy, a @relativaradio party in Madrid,
@halcyonveil night in Hollywood, mixes on Kiosk Radio, NTS, the Lot Radio, and
a string of live dates supporting Chelsea Wolfe in the US
