Introducing the first artists of our COMCAST mix series, Princess Elf Bar, a DJ from Hull who is now based in Leeds. She has played at trance, techno and hyperpop parties across the country. Princess Elf Bar is a driving force behind @bootyshakinbestiez, a night known for organising sold-out hard dance events in Leeds. Additionally, she maintains a regular presence at Wire Club, where she skillfully showcases her talent as a selector. Her DJ sets are endlessly euphoric, with trance music being her first love, but she loves switching up the energy with techno, bass & hyperpop. Princess Elf Bars’ diary is getting filled up quickly, and she is lined up to play at Teletech festival in August. She is a really promising artist in the Leeds underground scene. Definitely one to watch!

Hailing from and based in the North East of England, Niamh is a DJ, presenter and music journalist.
 
Unafraid to explore invigorating soundscapes meandering between pulsating, hypnotic techno and more tripped-out affairs, Niamh’s DJ sets embark upon carefully curated trips into the deep. Think catchy loops, driving rhythms and forward-thinking selections. Her monthly morning residency on Subtle Radio blends such musicality, built upon a grounding of classical and theoretical training, with on the pulse hosting, as segment ‘Local Hero’ acts as an ode to her beloved Northern roots and its artistry.
 Not only a regular voice on radio (think Rinse FM, Reprezent Radio and more), Niamh presents more widely and is the founder of the ‘Belta’ podcast, which showcases a range of folk in electronic music from the north and is singlehandedly produced, hosted and organised by herself. Guests on the show to date include Effy, Ewan McVicar, Gracie T, Sarah Story, La La, Habgud, Sammy Virji and more

Niamh’s finger is consistently on the pulse with an eagerness to share new music in her DJ sets due to her extensive editorial work, too. Member of the collective Tout Feu Tout Femme, Sonia Michigan stands out with her psychedelic sets tinged with Slavic influences. Her sets merge Techno, Trance, and Psytrance, offering a dreamlike journey to night owls.

A resident of the Belgian radio Microwave.live, her influence extends from Lille clubs to Parisian scenes and festivals such as Le Jardin Electronique and L’ode Mère Festival, affirming her presence in the French electronic landscape. This summer, she will be playing for the first time in Berlin.
